An Interview with Trump from 25 years ago where he is saying the same things then as now.

Gotta be a trick - everyone knows he's only saying stuff now to get elected........

Here's hoping Cruz doesn't play along with Kasich and the GOPe much longer and stops playing "spoiler" - he needs to get on board and toss his hat in in 2020 - the stage will be set for him then.

Does he talk about his support for sucking baby brains out with a vacuum in this interview?

Maybe he talks about his $5 trillion dollar wealth tax on this one?

Or perhaps his support of gay marriage in this one?

Or maybe he talks about the H1b visa workers he hires in this one?

Or maybe he talks about the campaign donations to liberals in this one?

In the word of your demigod: Give me a break. Give me a break.

Trump will probably name the LAWSUIT happy Hogan to be his VP candidate. They are from the same ideas.. And talk mean and love to get the folks in the Arena all churned up. Too bad Ben Carson, the SANE man with an adult approach didn;t kick in his afterburner and speak out. But Cruz is the only guy with a RECORD and political savvy.

I take it you're a Ted Cruz supporter? The Ted Cruz who called legalization of illegals part of "common sense" immigration reform, spent 9 months during the campaign obfuscating and dodging questions about legalization, and now outright lies about his past positions on legalization?

Must cause some serious cognitive dissonance to support Cruz and write crap like what you just did.

Cruz has a record alright, a record of working on the Bush2 campaign, working in the Bush2 administration, welcoming Neil Bush into his campaign, welcoming the entire Jeb finance team into his campaign, getting Elliot Abrams, a recycled neo-con artist from Reagan (involved in Iran-Contra) and the Bush1 administration. Yes, quite a record, of being just a warmed over Bush, and warmed over Bush has a putrid stink to it.

He is consistent. He even back then took out a full page ad railing about China.

You can virtually google him, and he’s as constant as the air we breathe.

I can’t imagine what it will be like in Cleveland. Will he have a speech writer and read from a teleprompter?

Meanwhile Cruz takes Neil Bush of Silverado Savings and Loan scandal fame and Glenn “I’m crazyb Beck, Lindsay Graham and Mitt “I’m a liberal pos” Romney on board and you don’t have a problem with that.

If you make an honest argument against Trump maybe somebody will respond with something other then mocking the fanaticism you are showing with the hyperbole and untruths.

I have no problem with anyone’s opposition to Trump; I find many machine Republicans’ apparent preference for Hillary pathetic (and revealing). That attitude verifies Ralph Nader’s comment in the 2000 campaign (in my mind, no doubt costing Gore the presidency): There is not a dime’s worth of difference between the two.

So he was for it before he was against it....

So since it was 15 years ago, that position is nullified?
So does that mean the video posted above is poppycock?

On another note, short of a Christian conversion, becoming born again, what would flip someone after 40 years of supporting every liberal policy under the sun to suddenly being this claimed conservative stalwart?

Maybe the fact that he decided to run on the GOP ticket.

Trump supporters are damning our country’s future, and guaranteeing a win by Clinton.

Trump told CBN's "The Brody File" [in April 2011] that gay people were "tremendous" and that "there can be no discrimination against gays."

Aug 2015

"It's not the first time Trump has taken a pro-LGBT stance. As far back as 2000, Trump was advocating the idea of amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation - something the currently-pending Equality Act would basically do if lawmakers on Capitol Hill ever decided to pass it.

"Amending the Civil Rights Act would grant the same protection to gay people that we give to other Americans - it’s only fair," Trump told The Advocate in February, 2000.

In the same interview, Trump said he favored "a very strong domestic-partnership law" that guaranteed same-sex couples equal legal rights as married, heterosexual couples.

Trump also said he believed Don't Ask, Don't Tell - the military's then-ban on openly gay service members - had "clearly failed."

Trump's spokesperson, Hope Hicks, did not immediately respond to msnbc's request for comment on where the presidential candidate stood on the Equality Act. But his longstanding support for ending discrimination against gay people has been well documented. ..."

Meet the Press, 1999:

Russert asked Trump about gay marriage. Trump didn't want to comment on it, but said he has no problem with gays in the military.

He explained, "I've lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, okay? So my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa."

When Russert asked Trump about abortion, he said he's "pro-choice in every respect" and again cited his New York background, which he said has a "different attitude" from most of the country

October, 2013 (Trump was 67 years-old at the time):

Fred Dicker: What is it going to mean for Donald Trump to have Bill de Blasio as [New York City] Mayor? "

Donald Trump: "He's a smart guy that knows what's going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York."

(Voice Over: That was Donald Trump a little over two years ago, endorsing [Marxist] Bill de Blasio for New York Mayor)

Donald Trump: "I think pretty strongly that he'll end up being a good mayor, maybe a very good mayor."

(Voice Over: De Blasio ran on class warfare, sanctuary cities and ending stop and frisk. De Blasio's sided with looters and cop killers against the police, with teachers unions against schoolchildren and with PC liberals to let the homeless run wild on city streets)

Donald Trump: "I think he is going to want to make New York great. ..."
