In South Caroline Cruz had hundreds of paid staff, thousands of volunteers, between his Super PAC and campaign they spent over $7 MILLION, had the endorsement of over 300 Evangelical pastors spread over all the counties in the state.
Then, Glenn Beck went around proclaiming that Cruz was sent by God to guide us thru the rapture. Then he said that Scalia’s death was part of God’s plan to get us to vote for Cruz.
The result was the Cruz lost the Evangelical vote, and he lost every single county, and came away with 0 delegates.
Most people don’t like the crazy religious talk being spouted by Beck. I certainly hope the Mormons of Utah respond the same way, and hand Cruz-Beck a resounding defeat on Tuesday.

Did Cruz deny it ? Beck works for Cruz. Absent a public denial now, well before the election, it appears Cruz has apostasized for political gain., he posed as a Mormon fulfillment of false prophecy from a false book to gain Utah.
What good is winning one state if you have to go down the delusional path of self-proclaimed messiah to do it? The rest of the country is going to see this as pandering to the cult of Joseph Smith.
