TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - It has been two days since she took center stage, next to the GOP front runner Donald Trump in Tucson.
Ever since she showed her support for the billionaire, she has been harassed at her business. Before thousands of eyes were on her Saturday afternoon, Trump spotted not her, but her sign which read "Latinas support D. Trump."
While KGUN9 was inside Sammy's Mexican Grill, the phone rang several dozen times, many calling Betty Rivas and her family racists, vulgar names and threatening their business.
Betty Rivas and her husband Jorge own the restaurant in Catalina, and she posted a photo of her and Trump on stage on her own Facebook page. But, she says some of her friends must not have agreed, sharing the post and putting her family business at the center of this controversy.
Many of the Facebook posts we came across today were vulgar in nature. We captured screenshots of several that were later deleted from the Sammy's Mexican Grill Facebook page. They can be viewed above in the media player.

The anti-Semitic, anti-American communist traitors are entitled to boycott her restaurant. That is their right. However, if they threaten her, I hope they will be imprisoned for decades. If they attack her, I hope they will be shot in self-defense and buried where their parasitic relatives can visit and remember the (to me unimportant) cost of initiating violence.
Note: If I lived in the area, I would eat at her restaurant tonight (and I would carry!). Since these threats of violence are intended to achieve a political result, they qualify as terrorism. I am quite confident that I know the priority Obama’s justice department will put on terrorism of this form - right up there with #BlackThugsMatter terrorism. Evil disgusts me, and evil has spread too much in America. I hope Trump will (1) win, and (2) follow through on his promises to deport these criminals and terrorists and to prosecute their supporters.
Yes, all good FReepers in that area, please support this woman’s business if you can, whether you support Trump or not. She doesn’t deserve to be threatened by leftists.
Stick to your guns Betty Rivas. Your business will be rewarded tenfold after President Trump is sworn into office because all of his enemies of today will have lost and will have gone silent and into hiding.

There used to be a restaurant in Tucson called Tia Elena. Does anyone know if it is still there? I can’t recall what part of town it was in.
