Oh come on, Ted!

I’d like to point out that Trump isn’t a fan of the UN either, as he pointed out at the AIPAC conference yesterday. I don’t recall hearing Cruz say a word about getting out of the UN or, at the very least, “encouraging them to find a new home more in line with their criticism of the United States and Israel.” I’m sure a wealthy New York real estate tycoon could make something actually useful out of the UN building - after it was completely fumigated, of course.

He’s not, but lying about Cruz is par for the course with FReeper Trump supporters, so get used to it.

Cruz is wrong on this and Trump is right.

We have been propping up Europe with US tax payer dollars for decades.

This has allowed Europe to cut it's military budgets to almost nothing and has prolonged the inevitable collapse of these socialist states that would have occurred LONG ago if they had been forced to defend themselves with their tax dollars instead of ours.

Socialism is grand... until you run out of other peoples money to pay for it.

We prolonged that day of reckoning for Europe and in the process have infected a whole generation of American youth with the idea that socialism can work.

NATO is going to stop Europe from allowing millions of radical Islamist invaders into their countries?

OK....

Cruz couldn't even wait a day before turning this into an anti-Trump moment. What a terrible, and pathetic, thing to do.

Cruz is a common opportunist politician, we've seen thousands of them - they do no good, only want to be elected.

So, you are for abandoning our friends?

You're wasting your breath, these zealots have made up their mind, common sense be damned.

Yeah, I guess we’re all left wondering aren’t we? Cuz Cruz never speaks for himself, of from his heart.

Counter that with Trump, who ONLY speaks for himself, and very clearly so.

Because NATO has been so effective in stopping the jihadi invasion of Europe.....

NATO has served their purpose. It’s time for Europe to take care of itself. Since 1992 what has NATO done that Euro countries couldn’t do on their own?

I am disgusTed with this slimy POS attorney. Lies are his only currency.

Is he even capable of stating his own opinions on issues without his sick obsession with Trump?

Perhaps he’s saying that in the face of these attacks and similiar ones its apparent that NATO might be needed.

Then he should that.

We shouldn’t get out of NATO, but we can’t continue on the same path with the US picking up most of the costs and the Europeans and Canadians spending less and less on defense. There has to be more burden-sharing. We are the world’s biggest debtor nation. We are bearing most of the burden in national treasure and blood to protect the “Free World,” Others must do more or else NATO is worthless.

Ted Cruz is an opportunistic politician that sells himself to any group that he believes will get him want he desires. He lied to the tea party, he lied to the workers by supporting TPA, he lied to Americans and supported the Corker Amendment, he has sold out to the Bushes, Romney, the GOPe and the Uniparty.

Further proof that as President, Cruz would be even more wrong than Obama. And more disliked.

Well our military isn’t accomplishing that either, so perhaps we should just all give up.
