Salah Abdeslam: Family and friends 'protected' Isis Paris attacker in Brussels
IBT ^

Posted on 03/23/2016 10:32:46 AM PDT by marthemaria

Family, friends and a network of petty criminals, rather than Islamic State (Isis), hid Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam in the Molenbeek neighbourhood of Belgian capital Brussels over the course of a four-month international manhunt, French and Belgian officials have said.

Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris, where 130 were killed in the November 2015 attacks, has said she believed the community of Molenbeek had "undoubtedly protected" Abdeslam.

Speaking on French radio, Hidalgo said the investigation into how Abdeslam had evaded police capture, despite an intensive international manhunt, would show "family support networks" and petty criminals had hidden the Belgian national in the aftermath of the Paris attacks. She added that these kinds of closed-off communities needed to be combatted. Hidalgo said not only had the Paris attackers been protected by their neighbours and friends, but doubtless many others.

"I don't think Daesh [Islamic State] is giving orders 24 hours a day. That would make it too easy for us," the prosecutor said, using the Arabic acronym used to describe IS. "People work freelance," he added.

Abdeslam is accused of being a member of an IS cell that killed 130 people in a series of coordinated shootings and bombing in Paris on 13 November. The suspect was captured during a massive police raid in the Molebeek district of Brussels days after his fingerprints were found at another flat in the city.

An alleged accomplice named Monir Ahmed Alaaj, also known as Amine Choukri, was also wounded and arrested, along with three members of the family hiding them, who have been identified as Abid Aberkan, Sihane Aberkan and Djemila M.

What was it Trump said about going after a terrorist’s family? And, what do the Israelis do to the homes of terrorists?

If you’re a muslim, you support all other muslims. Can’t get it through your thick heads.

If the family support networks are 100% Muslim and in support of ISIS, I don't see the distinction. They are terrorists. If the petty criminals are also 100% Muslim and in support of ISIS, I again don't see the distinction. They are trying to pretend this mass murder has nothing to do with their failed immigration policies, and their pretense is absurd.

“Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris, where 130 were killed in the November 2015 attacks, has said she believed the community of Molenbeek had “undoubtedly protected” Abdeslam. “

Then they should level the “community” and expel them from Belgium. Send them to Germany. That *itch Merkel with accept anything.

“Family, friends and a network of petty criminals, rather than Islamic State (Isis), hid Paris attacker...”

In other words, “peaceful muslims” protected the terrorist, just like we always knew they would.

It’s impossible for guerrillas, or terrorist groups that mimic those tactics, to operate without the implicit consent of the civilian population. If they tried to operate where the population was hostile, they would all get turned in to the authorities in short order. So anytime terrorists are able to operate, you can be sure there are a large number of civilian sympathizers who are supporting them.

France was pretty quick about changing laws (it took a matter of days after the last attack). My guess is Belgium will determine that this is a problem, and create a special law where you could go and spend ten years for harboring anyone accused of murder or mayhem. I’d make it a open-and-shut case where you get arrested, held until the court-case, and go into some ten-year stretch, with half of it in isolation.

Try to imagine the inner workings of the Brussel’s police as they try to analyze the interrogations, wire taps and intelligence information they are trying to digest from the this alien hostile culture in their midst. “We must arrest an Arabic speaking man age 20 to 60 known as Mo....Inspector Francois find him and arrest him. Be sure not to violate his rights.”

So you drive the getaway car for an armed robbery and someone is shot and killed. The driver faces charges as an accomplice. In this case, all these folks harboring a murderer should be accomplices and held for crimes.

The “vast majority” of muslims are not “moderate”. They are either directly enabling the terrorists with the bombs and guns, encouraging them, indoctrinating their youth to hate anyone who’s not in their particular sect of islam, or quietly cheering the attacks. What will Europe do when terrorist attacks become as frequent as we’ve seen in Bagdad, Kabul, Istanbul, Damascus, etc.? There are already thousands if not tens of thousands of middle eastern and North African battle-experienced muslims in Europe. So far only a handful have carried out attacks. The day is soon coming when we will see hundreds of simultaneous attacks throughout Europe. Europe has already sown the seeds of its own destruction.

Yup.

We are at war with ISLAM.

Political Correctness will continue to get innocents killed until civilized people rise up and defend themselves from these ISLAMIC savages.

There Will Be No Peace Until There Is No Islam.

That’s new...now they’re “petty criminals”. The left’s new buzzword.

They're constantly trying to turn this war into a law-enforcement problem, thereby dumping it onto the civil authorities.

It's a win-win for them. It means we can't use our military against a military enemy bent on conquering our civilization. It also means that our civil LEOs become steadily more militarized, which creates a domestic army that's ready to be turned into an internal Cheka with which to implement forced collectivization.
