Obama Apologizes in Argentina!

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: No sooner do I make a joke about it than it happens. This afternoon in Buenos Aires, Argentina, President Barack Obama at a joint press conference with Argentine President Mauricio Macri. Listen to this.

OBAMA: This week marks the 40th anniversary of the military coup. And tomorrow, to underscore our shared commitment to human rights, I'll visit a memorial to the victims of the Argentinean military dictatorship and recognize Argentina's historic and continuing efforts to make things right. To prove that this is more than just a symbolic gesture on my part, I'm launching a new effort to open up additional documents from that dark period. For the first time now we'll declassify military and intelligence records as well, on this anniversary and beyond. I hope this gesture also helps to rebuild trust that may have been lost between our two countries.

RUSH: See, we were keeping secrets. We had secret records. We were keeping secret records, probably intelligence data about Argentina and the military coup, and Obama has essentially said, "You know what? We're sorry. We're gonna open up these secret documents. We're going to release these secret documents to you so that you can see what a bunch of reprobates all of my predecessors have been toward you." Which, make no mistake, is one of the purposes here. Yes, so you Argentinians can see how much better I am as president than some of these heathens that served in the office before I came along.

The people of Lichtenstein are going to feel very lonely, being the only nation in the world that Obama has not given an apology.

This one will do anything to get what he thinks is admiration or respect. Serious character deficiencies he has.

He should have pursued a career as an interior decorator.

Can’t wait for Obama to tell the Argentines that they have a right to invade the Falkland Islands because YOU KNOW that’s coming up!

Obama will call them “Las Malvinas.” That was one of his first insults to the British when he took office.

Next he’ll apologize to the Japanese for Hiroshima.

Then the Germans for D-day.

Then the British for the “immoral” Bill of Rights.

Limbaugh was unusually pathetic today; not much to say and repeated himself over and over. Wanted to make a deal out of Cruz saying Muslim neighborhoods being “patrolled”. He took a few slaps at Obama, but mostly centered on how beyond divine Cruz is, his incredible intellect, his pure conservatism, etc. Never mentions that Cruz has to win about 80% of the remaining delegates to win.

Rush did his favorite thing today: Put on a Trump supporter who wants to explain Trump with stupid, left handed ideas, bait him along, and then claim that he typifies all Trump supporters, and leave for a break snickering and taunting. Limbaugh was unusually devious today.

President Narcissus has a never-ending desire to be “liked” by people that causes him to bow to everyone in the world - except American citizens.

He should tell them that if they had been smart enough to wait until he was President, they would have been able to keep the Falklands...he would have stopped the British from recapturing the islands.

Funny you should mention the Falklands. Britain is getting ready, so you are prescient as well as Rush.

Not covered in the US, is the story of the island of St. Helena (where they sent Napoleon for the last time), formerly only serviced by one Royal Mail ship— no air service. The construction of an engineering marvel— a modern full capacity jet airport, handled by Scottish PLC Basil Read Construction (and, might add suitable for airborne supply and attack group staging) amazing:

Said airport being 3812 air miles to the Falklands— ie. refuelable and reachable.

The oil shelf belongs to the Brits, but Argentina would sure like to steal it. Hence this large investment into what is a very small amount of tourism business to St. Helena, as a “cover” excuse. IMHO.

Very forward thinking. And the construction is a wonder in any case- heavily impacting the culture of the old islanders by it’s increase in people, and money. But it is really part of the remnant of the British Empire— for the sake of oil off Argentina.

When is Argentina going to apologize, and take back their Pope?

Maybe next he can pop over to Chile and say something nasty about Pinochet. Then maybe find David Ortega to bow down to.

Actually Obama should be given some credit for showing support for Argentina’s Macri who has been compared to Donald Trump.

Just saying.

IMHO

It would be funnier if it was spelled correctly.

It is deliberately spelled ACCEPT and not EXCEPTionalism.

It’s a joke.
