Soon, you’ll be “educated” in a “new math” not unlike Common Core.

Or so I predict........

Thank goodness Cruz is done. He will NEVER win Pennsylvania, New York or New Jersey....New Jersey is winner take all. Wisconsin is a win for Trump....I know 1 poll has Trump down 1 point.....we’ll see. Maryland will go for Trump. Connecticut and Rhode Island all go Trump. The only 3 states that MIGHT go Cruz is Nebraska, South Dakota and Oregon. Not enough Cruz creepers.

He has no chance- just NJ - winner take all - knocks out Cruz. Never mind NY CT RI or WV where he won’t get a single delegate. Leave out Texas - Trump sweeps the original 13 colonies and all but one of the CSA. Plus MO and KY if u count them as CSA.

It’s much more complicated than percentages. Each state has different rules, esp the big ones.

which of these various numbers of delegates do they use at the convention? different sources show different numbers, give or take a few. How do they land so precisely on 1237 in the end? whose numbers do they use?

++++
This is true. But it ignores a very important point: Trump very likely has to have the majority going in. If there is a second ballot I expect the votes for Trump will decline and the votes for Cruz will increase.

Right now this is just my gut feel. As we get closer to end of the Primary Season we should have our answer. If Trump comes up short (unlikely but quite possible) there will be a huge interest in the makeup of the convention delegates. Are they loyal to Trump over Cruz? Who knows? I’m betting Cruz.

Interesting times, these.

Cruz only needs enough delegates to keep Trump below 1237.

The Green Papers 2016 Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions
http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/R

THE DELEGATE RACE MATH ~

Trump won 7,825,264 votes -—> 755 delegates.

T.Cruz won 5,737,119 votes —-> 465 delegates.

And there has not been a recount ordered in Missouri.

Does the endorsement by Jeb signal that Cruz has made his deal with the devil for a shot at the nomination? Or, is Cruz a patsy who will be discarded?

It looks like Cruz and Kasich are on the take, if you get my drift.
