Scott Walker: Nominee at Brokered Convention Will Be Someone ‘Not Currently Running’

Wisconsin governor Scott Walker said Thursday that in the event of a contested convention, the Republican nominee will likely be someone who is "not currently running."
"I think if it's an open convention, it's very likely it would be someone who's not currently running," Walker said.
"I mean, who knows. The one thing I qualify -- it's like the qualifications you see on those ads you see for car dealerships. I think any of us who comment on this election have to qualify that almost every prediction's been off, so it's hard to predict anything," Walker added.
Walker's own run for the presidency went down in flames before the Iowa caucus even happened, due in large part to Walker hiring a D.C.-based team that didn't know how to manage a conservative Midwesterner.
Convention head Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)56% has not definitively ruled out the possibility that he could get the nomination in Cleveland. John Boehner said that he would support Ryan on a second ballot.

Walker spills the beans. The GOP mob bosses will pick the RINO nominee to lose to Hillary Clinton. Let's see which RINO will be the sacrificial lamb this year. Ryan, Walker, Linda Graham, Juan McAmnesty, Linda Graham, Senoir Jeb. Maybe boss hogg Haley Barbour. Maybe Willard Romney. So many RINOs out there that want to be a footnote in history as the one who was beaten by the "first female president". We'll know soon enough. Then all's well in the GOPe. They're job are safe after all that worrying about Trump or even about Cruz.

I really don’t think the GOPe and RINO’s know what they are getting themselves into....
The ‘silent majority” is becoming UNsilent....and one thing leads to another...You know what happens to a line of dominoes when one falls.......

Cruz is not his own agent. Never has been. Follow the money and forget the talk radio spin.

If it’s Jeff Sessions, I’m in.

Not sure where this will go but wish our side had stayed civil with each other. Time heals but the scars rum deep

Cruz is the last gasp of the GOPe to get to an open convention and put a Traditional RINO in as nominee.

I listened on Fox just a bit ago and one commentator said he was at a closed door fundraiser where Mitt Romney was THROWING himself as the nominee.
I’m not making that up. If I remember which show and the commentator, I’ll come back and update this. It wasn’t more than 2 hours ago, iirc.
I remember now...it was actually a DVR I’d made of last night’s Lou Dobbs, and it was the head of the American Conservative Union who made the comment.

If Trump wins and the GOP brokers the convention anyway and picks someone else, two things will happen.
1. The Republican Party will cease to exist. Money, votes, support, will vanish forever.
2. Trump will still run under a 3rd Party label and be elected in a landslide by absolutely enraged voters, beating the GOP candidate PLUS Hillary, together, in votes.

If it’s Walker, I’ll be sure to post his signing of AB 366 which is the bill that prohibits the use of cash at pain clinics.

Thank you.
Cruz really is the problem at the moment. He is no longer the guy he was originally, he is now standing with the entire establishment.
Every single thing which Trump is for, Cruz is against.
Cruz is becoming the establishment’s last ditch effort, in this race.
