Representative Jason Chaffetz, the Republican from Utah, has introduced a Bill that would take the law enforcement capacity on public lands from the Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service.
This is a major win for US citizens if it does in fact pass. Many have been harassed and even lost their land to the Federal Government in land grabs and other abuses enforced by the BLM.

About time. They think murdering folks is in their job description.
Call your Congresscritter at (202) 224-3121 and demand that he, she, or it support the Chaffetz bill.
Shucks, I was hoping that BLM stood for Black Lives Matter.
I’d like to see ‘em stripped away.
About damn time!!! They have SERIOUS WEAPONS!!
I believe there was a Supreme Court case back in the 1840’s that said that state and local authorities could not be made to enforce federal laws. So they could pass the law enforcement responsibilities to the county and the county could say no.
The county can call in the fbi in that event.
If the county declines to begin with then wouldn't it be the BLM or the Forrest Service that would have to call the FBI?
What? Are you kidding? The county sherriff can tell the Feds “Don’t come into jurisdiction without my approval. At all.” Damn the FBI or anyone else in the feds.
Some good law.
Give America back to the Americans!
it is a good start NPS should be added also
The Education Department has the same thing-heard it on FR.
But some cooperate willingly. Fire laws in Skamania Co. Washington state parallel Forest Service fire laws. Get caught on Forest Service land (Gifford Pinchot NF) in Skamania County and you will go to the Skamania Count Court house in Stevenson, WA instead of the Federal court in Portland, OR. Even if the citation is issued by a Forest Service Employee.
But, the Chicoms need to have the BLM as their armed force in America. Who else is going to protect the uranium mines for the Chicom companies?
