Donald Trump scored a 22-point victory in the Arizona Republican primary on Tuesday, but even as the billionaire's campaign turns its attention to upcoming contests, a political proxy battle has erupted here, about 90 minutes north of the border with Mexico.
The unlikely arena is a small restaurant a few miles outside Tucson, in the shadow of the dusty Catalina Mountains, called "Sammy's Mexican Grill."

It had been a little more than four days since Betty Rivas, who owns "Sammy's" with husband Jorge, placed herself a few feet from the stage at a Trump rally at the nearby Tucson Convention Center. It was, she told CNN, "a perfect location."
"Don't let them silence you!," the billionaire posted on Facebook, urging readers to stop by "Sammy's" for a meal. "All Americans need to stand up TOGETHER against hatred and those trying to stop our rights to freedom and liberty."
Trump supporters attack people supportjng other candidates all the time.
From other articles the people attacking her aren’t eligible to vote anyway.

I saw an post here last week how Betty Rivas was being boycotted and threatened over her have the audacity to speak out in favor of Trump. Some of the threats very vocal and real threating. So on Friday, I hopped on the Bandit and rode down to Catalina, a Tucson suburb located at the foot of the Catalina’s. I figured she might need a little support. Any hoo, Arriving at lunch hour, the place was busy, not packed but busy. No protesters there, I guess like the Progressives of the early 20th Century, they only work under the cover of darkness or in big groups or with hoods covering their faces.
Sammy’s is small place with a steady stream of cars through the drive thru and every table (8-10) inside occupied but several tables open on the patio. Place was too busy to talk to the family, but the customers I did talk to were about 50-50 between regulars and folks there to support. Food was a big step up from Taco Bell and the place was clean and nice. Definitely not a Theme restaurant but a family owned enterprise, probably under capitalized. I know I will stop there again when I am in the area.
They called the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. Officers opened a case but told Jorge there wasn’t much to be done. He was assured that a squad car would swing by every few hours.
Yeah, I guess. Nobody called anybody “fag” or “nigger” is the thing. They’d open a can of whoop ass then.

Those who preach tolerance don’t practice tolerance.
Why should Mexican-Americans, many of whom have lived in the southwest for generations, automatically be pro-immigration? They have nothing to gain when their distant cousins illegally cross the border and undercut their wages. Same with blacks who often see their jobs migrate to low-wage illegals.
Look it up. Sammy’s gets high ratings on all the review web sites.

I hope people from all over Arizona and elsewhere stop there. I hope they have a big enough parking lot.
