With Cruz=colored glasses, they can’t see that.

Trump might be Pecker’s buddy, but Trump doesn’t run the paper and factor in lawsuit risks. And what about F.H. Buckley? Is he part of the cospiracy against Cruz as well?
There are really only 2 paths from there. Either the media outlets were actually sitting on the story or there wasn't enough evidence for them to pursue it.
That also doesn't mean the NE didn't pursue it with investigators of their own. It obviously thinks it has something At least enough to provide minimum legal coverage. Now, the magazine is increasing it's readership by releasing it's info bit by bit. It's what magazines do.
IMO, tomorrow will be telling. While there's no verifiable evidence so far, the circumstantial evidence is enough to make a pretty big smoke signal.

I tell you what, if someone falsely accused me of infidelity with 5 women, MY WIFE WOULD TAKE IT PERSONALLY as an assault upon her worthiness as a wife. The women were not named. The internet minions have been matching up pictures to identify the ladies pictured with bars over their faces.
3 are well known now, a 4th has been pretty well dialed in, but she’s not famous or in DC so it’s not been as well followed, and the 5th remains a mystery with lots of speculation but no confirmation of any sort I have found.
The rumored +3 have no details or pictures yet published as far as I can tell.
But, again, NE did not name any of them, they only published pixelated photos with bars over their faces.
