Prior to South Carolina, I asked around about his alleged mob ties and got insulted by Trump-bashers and blown off. I asked them to help me vet him.

Cruz really did not deny it completely, tried to blame Trump, Carpenter sid talk to lawyer, Katrina said not true in her case... Put it all together, inconclusive denials IMO. Cruz could have denied more, like ever fooling around. He did not. Maybe he didn’t want soundbites which would be used against him, even if he were innocent.

My mother was also in the field. Some are just really good at reading people. She could make after relatively little “eval” time with a near 95% accuracy rate. Fortunately for those inclined, there’s months worth of sample material available on Cruz.

suing immediately is what lawyers are for, and it would have given his campaign a boost to hit the NE with a suit immediately.
The NE is not in the business of making law suit donations for stories such as these; the Edwards people, the Hart people, the ... well you should get the gist, all of them could have made hundreds of millions had the stories not been true. Edwards made his fortune suing people, yet he was guilty and could not win against the NE.
There is too much Cruz could have gained by suing immediately and turning it over to lawyers while he is busy trying to achieve the White House. That he is trying everything he can to divert attention from the truth of his infidelities should tell you something very important about the man ...
