Trump: Cruz's campaign bought rights to GQ photo

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday slammed rival Ted Cruz for the recent ad produced by an anti-Trump super-PAC featuring a photo of Trump's wife posing nude.

"From what I hear, he and his campaign went out and bought the cover shoot. Melania did a cover story for 'GQ,' a very strong modeling picture. No big deal," Trump said on ABC's "This Week."

"But it was a cover story for 'GQ,' a big magazine. And it was, you know, fine. And from what I hear, somebody bought the rights to it and he was the one or his campaign bought the rights and they gave it to the super PAC."

Trump said Cruz knew about the ad, adding he started the latest fight between the two. Last week, Trump threatened to "spill the beans" on Cruz's wife in response to the ad featuring Melania Trump. He then shared a tweet featuring a photo of his wife next to a photo of Cruz's wife, stating, "A picture is worth a thousands words."

Cruz has denied knowing anything about the ad, and called it deplorable on Sunday.

But Trump said the super PAC that produced the ad is "very friendly to Ted Cruz."

"He knew all about it, 100 percent," he said.

"There's no way in a million years that super PAC did that without his absolute knowledge."

http://injury.findlaw.com/torts-and-personal-injuries/what-is-defamation-per-se-.html

Defamation per se
Indications that a person was involved in criminal activity
Indications that a person had a “loathsome,” contagious or infectious disease
Indications that a person was unchaste or engaged in sexual misconduct
Indications that a person was involved in behavior incompatible with the proper conduct of his business, trade or profession

You don’t think Trump is stupid enough to step in one of these do you?

The only thing that will make this scandal better, is when a promo shot emerges, of Cruz and his girlfriends "The Bang of Eight"...In The Nude.

No, I read it first on a news site that someone linked to on FB. I had no idea who the man was and asked a few people on here. They told me. That was before it even got on this site.

Where? Do you have a link? I have searched extensively and found nothing except for a tweet that repeats the same unsubstantiated claim.

She has to take responsibility for the actions she took in life just like you and I do. If her husband didn’t want that picture to be seen of her she shouldn’t have posed for it. I actually actually feel sorry for her being married to a world class bully but still think she has to own what she did.

Bob,

sarasmom is right. You’ve posted Romney’s PAC expenditures. The PAC that placed the ad was Liz Mair’s “Make America Awesome” PAC. She can’t even come up with an original name, for this anti-Trump PAC.

Hey Mr Beltfed, how does one provide empirical evidence of an event that never occurred. IOW’s, if person A says person B screwed the pooch on the porch, how does person A falsify person B’s slander?

DC Whispers has received information that suggests an effort by the Cruz Campaign to prepare for the now burgeoning scandal has been in the works for “several weeks” and includes, but is not limited to, the most recent back and forth social media spat between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump that was initiated by a Cruz Super PAC using a sixteen year old modeling photo of Mr. Trump’s wife which was then distributed to Mormon-dominated voters of Utah just prior to that state’s caucus election.

The ad predictably created anger from Donald Trump, which then quickly escalated into remarks by both Ted Cruz and his own wife, Heidi Cruz.

That ongoing back and forth sniping is said to have been a planned event by the Cruz campaign to try and intermingle the Cruz-Trump dispute with the pending National Enquirer story in an effort to confuse voters as to what was really going on. Initially it appears to have worked as the Mainstream Media has focused almost entirely on the Trump-Cruz back and forth involving the defense of their respective wives, and almost no attention by this same Mainstream Media has been devoted to the Cruz sex scandal story.

Before you play the lawyer games explain why this entire BS feud was created out of whole fiction by the Cruz camp.

Exactly. Lots of accusations, but no facts. No details. No evidence. Just accusations.

It’s the seriousness of the accusation that counts. Trump supporters have adopted that from the left.

There was one unsubstantiated tweet that claimed that. But no evidence. No details. No facts. Just a claim. In a tweet.
