Former lawyer for the ‘D.C. Madam’ says names in her records could be ‘relevant’ to election

Attorney Montgomery Blair Sibley... He represented the “D.C. Madam,” whose black book included a sitting senator.

Now Sibley claims that some never-before-aired information found in the records of said madam “could be relevant” to the upcoming presidential election.

How so? Well, he can’t say. Sibley is bound by restraining orders imposed by the court in the case of Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who committed suicide in 2008 soon after she was found guilty of racketeering and money laundering. But her colorful former attorney is now seeking permission to release 815 names of Palfrey’s clients and the records of 40 other escort services operating in Washington

He didn’t say the person was a senator then, just a sitting senator.

If the person who wrote the names of clients was alive to verify what she wrote, I could believe it. Since she was murdered to keep her quiet, it is nothing more than a hit list of whoever hired the hit.

More nougats of wisdom than a chocolate nougat bar:

1. That's why she's dead [If ...(she) was alive to verify what she wrote...]

2. I'd want a video of the black book from the time she "committed suicide" till the date the contents were released [... it is nothing more than a hit list of whoever hired the hit].

That so many forget this or discount it is simply amazing. No matter what we think of him, what are the chances that Obama will allow Hillary to gain power over him in retiremenmt? I say it is slim to none. He knows that it’s dangerous to wound a Queen. He KNOWS they will want to get even with him once they have the power. Slim to none are the chances for Prez Hllary?

Now, there's food for thought.

Heidi Cruz is a product of a very straight-laced Seventh Day Adventist upbringing. In addition to her obvious intellectual abilities evidenced by her own education and her attainment of high position at Goldman Sachs, she seems the kind of woman that an also straight-laced Ted Cruz might seek to become the mother of his children. The lady apparently had a near nervous breakdown at one point. People her who do not know her then jump to conclusions that it must have been because her husband is an alley cat.

I ain't going to blame Ted Cruz for that. Personal experience.

Bingo. She assured her friends and family that she would not commit suicide. She was found hanging inside a shed—hanging is a method often used by assassins. I'm betting Cheney and/or McCain are on that list. Apparently Cheney had some odd tastes.

She should have strapped on a single-shot double-ought buck tube to her arm. She might have been able to cut her "suicider" in half...

Thanks for that post. We would all do well to tone it down. Enthusiastically supporting a candidate is one thing. Non-stop defamation is quite another. I support Cruz but I have absolutely no use for the tactic of dragging Melania Trump through the mud. She appears to be a dignified lady and does not deserve this treatment. I will give Trump full credit for his good choice of Melania as his wife.

Political differences are one thing and personal snide attacks on candidates' family members are quite another. If the lady made a mistake years ago, which of us has not done things we wish we had not. My understanding of Christianity is that we welcome the reform of those who have sinned and we extend to all the love of Christ.

I have little doubt that Donald Trump has been very generous and has used his fortune to assist folks who have not enjoyed similar success. Despite his ability to drum up a crowd, he has refrained from pointing to his personal charity towards others. I am a Catholic. I don't expect Trump or Cruz to agree with the dogmatic theology of my Church. We have many differences among us on matters of religion and otherwise. I would suggest that some of us Catholics who are having trouble with Trump's candidacy would be re-assured if he would share at least some of what he has done charitably. Not to brag but to give his heartfelt reasons for his charity towards disabled veterans or crippled children or anything else. I also recognize that many of my fellow Catholics DO support Trump already. We are also not happy with Pope Francis questioning Trump's faith. His faith is his business and Gods business and none of Francis's business.

This campaign on all sides has been too much bombast and not enough positives. In November, we will need the positives.

Thank you for your post and may God bless you and yours!

If so, why would Christian ladies and gentlemen repeat such "rumors?" The unnecessary spreading of harmful gossip is a moral defect called the sin of calumny even when the charges are known to be true. It is time to put this slimefest behind all of us on all sides.

I have never been personally present when Trump or Cruz or Kasich were having sex. Nor have I the slightest interest in witnessing them having sex. I also am not interested in talking about it as though I knew what I do not know and what I would bet no one here knows. I also am not interested in seeing FR descend into a swamp of unsupported and unsupportable calumny.

We can all do a lot better than this.

Oh, so you don't think he is guilty?

Oh he's guilty as hell, and I doubt that there is anyone, including his most ardent supporters, would believe otherwise. The ONLY defense he can mount is a loud (and unconvincing) denial and an attack on Trump. All that was missing from a Bubba Clinton redux was I didn't see Rafel wag a crooked little finger in our faces.

No, most people with any sense do not believe he is guilty. The only Bubba Clinton redux in this election is the Donald.

Did you happen to see the tweets where he and Amanda Carpenter were showing off their matching Churchill tats and how happy "they" were?

How the heck do you know where the Donald was hanging out at the time. I assume he didn’t check in with you as to his daily agenda.
