At a campaign event Monday in Wisconsin, Ted Cruz backer and former 2016 candidate Carly Fiorina steps in to deflect a question from a Daily Mail reporter asking about rumors reported by the National Enquirer about Ted Cruz's personal life.
DAILY MAIL REPORTER: Will you respond more definitively [than his previous denial, which was interestingly worded] to the story in the National Enquirer
CARLY FIORINA: If I may--
REPORTER: No, I'm sorry, I asked the senator that question.
FIORINA: I'm going to comment, okay?
REPORTER: Do you have first-hand knowledge of the senator's marriage?
FIORINA: I'm going to comment. This is an example of the media playing to Donald Trump's tune. Donald Trump is a serial philanderer, by his own admission. And in a week when we have had a terrorist attack in Brussels, a shooting at the Capitol, the president of the U.S. in the baseball stands with Raul Castro, and insisting he be photographed in front of a picture of Che Guevara with the two Castro brothers, we are talking about a scurrilous, ridiculous piece in the National Enquirer?

ROFL! Spewed my cheerios on my computer monitor I laughed so hard!
Good lord, I'd hope Cruz has better taste than sleeping with a (much) older woman who has a face like Mr. Ed.
Its astonishing to hear them calling the stories about Daddy Ted and his philandering as nothing but false innuendo and then uses false innuendo as Trump being the person being behind the stories.
Shouldn’t be a surprise. Cruz has run a sleazy campaign since Iowa. Nothing principled or conservative about him. He’s a climbing career politican will to say or do anything to win.
As Rush and others have commented, only Trump can defeat Trump and he seems to be hard at work for that to happen.
BREAKING NEWS...
Carly just announced that the Cruz campaign is merging with Compaq computers. ;-)
(I am retired from HP after 25 years and use to work for the witch.)
I’m wondering how much of this is loyalty to Cruz verses bitterness towards Trump for making fun of her looks.
We guys don’t care if people make fun of our looks. Women do. And they hold grudges
“I was surprised Ted didn’t add something after she stepped in and added something like “And isn’t Carly extraordinary?” “
Quite frankly, I was halfway expecting them to roll up their sleeves and display matching “His & Her’s” henna tattoos.
It is getting to the point that every time Cruz opens his mouth, it is to blame Trump for something.
It is getting as repetitious as Hillary Clinton always blaming Republicans and Obama always blaming Bush.
We don’t need another blame-shifter. We need a ‘the buck stops here!’ president.
Cruz had the same facial expression when letting Fiorina take over, as Jeb did when Mommy was talking.

So far, I have NOT heard wife Heidi addressing any of this. It seems her response was to cancel all public appearances and disappear.
Some previous related threads indicated she filed for divorce around 2011 due to “infidelity”.
The blame Trump whining makes Teddy Cruz sound so wimpy, dishonest, and out of touch with reality. Isn’t anybody close to him pointing this out? He even blamed Brussels on Trump. Dems will use all that against him if he wins the nomination.
We do not, LIAR!!!
;-)
Media wanted to keep it under wraps for the general election in case Cruz got the nomination.
The rumor(s) of affair(s) and possibly video(s) have been hinted at for months. Supposedly, Team Rubio was trying to hawk stuff to the major media but got no takers prior to the Iowa caucuses.
But, as with the BJ stuff, the Gary Hart stuff, the John Edwards stuff, it seems to be the National Enquirer [or Star type publications] that forces to major media into reporting about these.
Ted Cruz can’t defend himself?
“I have NOT heard wife Heidi addressing any of this. It seems her response was to cancel all public appearances and disappear.”
If I were her, I’d be in a safe house somewhere. These Establishment people are getting so desperate they would “suicide” her so they could blame it on Trump.
If you posed that question to me, I’d ask you the same question. What gives a reporter the moral imperative to pry into someone else’s morality? An allegation from the National Enquirer?
Just turned the TV on and there was cruz at his rally, and yes for the first two mins it was all about Trump.
The man is obsessed with Trump
And why is that? If Trump cheated on his wife, would it preclude you from voting for him as well, or is that a standard you apply only to Ted Cruz?
I ma surprised that there are people still stubborn enough to think cruz is our Lord savior and can’t fact any facts.
Interesting. Cruz acts guilty but it bothers me that the media is allowing the "blame Trump" meme to continue. If the NE has more, I wish they'd come out with it before the Wisconsin primary.
He praises Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender and owner of "Pedophile Island".
"I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy, He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it Jeffrey enjoys his social life."
