Republican political consultant, correspondent, and editor of the StoneZone.com joined Steve Malzberg on Newsmax TV on Monday to discuss the Ted Cruz sex scandal.

Stone, who Cruz blamed for the National Enquirer report, categorically denied he was behind the Cruz sex story.
Stone also said he “knows for a fact” that Ted Cruz cheated on his wife Heidi.
Steve Malzberg: Did you give this information and story to the Enquirer?Roger Stone: Absolutely, positively, categorically not… This story originated by Marco Rubio operatives… I was aware of three allegations of Ted Cruz and women, not his wife. I learned about two additional allegations. So, I can also tell you Steve, categorically, I never spoke to Donald Trump about this. I never spoke to anybody in the Trump campaign about this… Trust me if I would have planted the story you would never know about it…

Totally believe him. He has been doing political dirty tricks since Nixon and this reeks of amateurish mistakes. Plus there is a ton of evidence from Rubio supporters that confirms it.
We will just wait and see what the next issue of the NE says, and what Anonymous comes out with.

And yet he was interviewed by the National Enquirer and did not provide them with those "facts", so they had to run a lame story, with all types of weasel phrase disclaimers such as "rumors say", "some are saying", etc.
This guy must think everyone is as stupid and naive and gullible as the the crowd his boss is targeting.
Stone did in fact work for the Committee to Reelect the President while still in his teens. Or so he claims.

Stone moved to Washington to attend George Washington University, but he became so engrossed in Republican politics that he never graduated. He was just nineteen when he played a bit part in the Watergate scandals. He adopted the pseudonym Jason Rainier and made contributions in the name of the Young Socialist Alliance to the campaign of Pete McCloskey, who was challenging Nixon for the Republican nomination in 1972. Stone then sent a receipt to the Manchester Union Leader, to “prove” that Nixon’s adversary was a left-wing stooge. Stone hired another Republican operative, who was given the pseudonym Sedan Chair II, to infiltrate the McGovern campaign. Stone’s Watergate high jinks were revealed during congressional hearings in 1973, and the news cost Stone his job on the staff of Senator Robert Dole.
