“So it is fine with you if the voters choose him and the party chooses someone else? At this point that is the only way he is not the nominee.”

If he doesn’t have 1,237 delegates at the time of the convention then the voters did not choose him. A plurality chose him. After the first ballot, all bets are off.

1237 delegates is an arbitrary number. I’m fine with it, inasmuch as the GOP allows the process to unfold naturally. This year the primaries have been so tainted by the clear attempt to rig the game by the insiders that it frankly leaves me thinking that sticking with this arbitrary number is just one more sign of how the elites have been successful at completely freezing out those of us without a membership card to their club from leadership. If we held our noses and supported crappy candidates that did not in any way reflect the base in 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012 then they better damn well be ready to hold theirs and support Trump right effing now.

Every damn thing Cruz, Kasich, Romney, Bush, Levine and the rest of the anti-Trump self-congratulatory club do just helps the Democrats.
