To sharpen the point; the liberal mainstream churches can promote their gay pastors, their boycott of Israel, their undermining of any policy that hints at American exceptionalism with no fear (their be membership may be crashing but that’s another story). However a conservative, evangelical minister intrudes on the prerogative of the state from the pulpit at great risk.

It is called reparations to deal with the stain of America - slavery. Yes it is happening and taxpayers unknowingly pay for the process that Blacks receive low interest mortgage rates.

Just wait till you hear the amount of hundreds of millions in money Detroit receives from the Federal Government for Removal of the 40,000 abandoned and vacant buildings. Flint will receive federal money to for the lead contaminated water. Yet there are multiple other cities in Michigan whom have a similar problem with lead in the water. Do not get me started on the issue of abandoned and vacant properties - in my neighborhood 7 homes are abandoned and vacant. And 4 of the properties the roofs have collapsed since they have been neglected for 50 plus years. There is no money to deal with them, because state funding is only focused on Detroit, Saginaw and Flint!

Never heard of government loans for churches. My church has a loan at the interest rate all businesses at the time were receiving - no breaks - no deals - no government - just a business loan.

This is our corrupt government which we are trying to eradicate by electing Trump. But the leaches have a tight hold on their victims.

“.. it’s wealthy ..”

I’ve been involved in “church” all my life and have never known a wealthy church. Wealthy people may be members but the churches, not. However, I don’t know anything about mega-churches.

Most churches, if they need to, can collect thousands of dollars in a single offering.

If a relatively small church of just 100 people were all inspired to give to a candidate, that candidate could have 10,000 from just that small group.

Amen Papa Bear!

Better yet would be to repeal 501(c) entirely. Eliminate the concept of “non-profit” as a special, tax-exempt entity.
If look at the landscape, most “non-profits” are Leftist organizations who use their tax-exempt status to let their endowments grow tax-free, and let their Leftist friends use the place as a tax shelter.

Case in point, the “Clinton Foundation”.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

IMO, NOBODY should be paying ‘property taxes’. If you pay taxes, you don’t OWN it. Even those ‘one horse towns’ don’t need a Maj Mahal for a courthouse...

(Most) services should be paid by the party/user (not sure how that gels w/ police/others but works damn fine for fire/schools/etc.).

Course, first, govt should get out of their illegal activity to begin (welfare/’charity’), and let the community/churches do what they did best. Govt shouldn’t be fraternizing w/ religion to start.

I’d prefer we go after the ROOT, not the symptom(s)

Abandoned buildings, eh?

Could be a real threat.
They could collapse and trap someone in the rubble - for days.

Oh, speaking of rubble and "trapped for days" ... You have some serious unanswered questions -

Over here.

(Or are you going to run away and hide for three months again, like a sniveling little liar?)

.. AME and other left-wing church groups are Democratic strongholds.

But messing with tax exempt status is asking for a Cromwellian rebellion IMO...

oh ya? well don't get me started on School taxes. They are double the property taxes. Do churches pay School taxes? no. I despise paying the school taxes.

BTW, I think only property owners should be able to vote. That would get rid of all the BS issues and voter fraud.

Several years ago the Rabbi at my synagogue bad-mouthed Republicans. I wrote an angry letter questioning that and asking of I were still welcome at services. I received a mealy-mouthed reply from the congregation president, saying the rabbi “had been counseled” and of course I was still welcome. It is a conservative congregation but the rabbi is a Marxist.

I am in total agreement.

Liz and I have been documenting and discussing how the liberals abuse their phoney non charities posing as charities for their personal gain and liberal votes for a decade at least.
