“Deborah Jeane Palfrey (March 18, 1956 May 1, 2008)[1] (dubbed the D.C. Madam by the news media) operated Pamela Martin and Associates, an escort agency in Washington, D.C. Although she maintained that the company’s services were legal, she was convicted on April 15, 2008 of racketeering, using the mail for illegal purposes,[1][2] and money laundering.[2] Slightly over two weeks later, facing a prison sentence of five or six years, she was found hanged.”
That is from her Wiki page.
Notice the date? The whole case was before Cruz was even married.
This is a nothing burger.
???? The date is 2008 but Cruz was married in 2001.

I’m pretty sure hiring a prostitute is against the law in DC, and that applies regardless of whether or not you are married.
Since you have been to her Wiki page, you apparently didn’t notice (or chose to ignore) the fact that she was in business for 13 years prior to her arrest in 2006, so that would cover the years (2001-2003) Crooze worked for the Bush administration in DC.
And since you mention that they were married in 2001, if Crooze was in fact patronizing prostitutes in the 2001-2003 period, that would have most likely been soon after his marriage. If this is true, and I’m not saying one way or another, that would have been a pretty low down thing to do to his new wife.
