In a revealing interview, Trump predicts a ‘massive recession’ .......
The Washington Post ^ | April 2, 2016 | Bob Woodward and Robert Costa

Donald Trump said in an interview that economic conditions are so perilous that the country is headed for a “very massive recession” and that “it’s a terrible time right now” to invest in the stock market, embracing a distinctly gloomy view of the economy that counters mainstream economic forecasts.

The New York billionaire dismissed concern that his comments — which are exceedingly unusual, if not unprecedented, for a major party front-runner — could potentially affect financial markets.

We have been getting massive warnings from all the 'markets' and economy/banking experts....this is nothing new....Trump has the courage to speak out about the impending mess brought on by ill equipped men appointed to keep the state of the $$ sound....instead they play games with the economy, the present POTUS is just as dim as those he appoints.

He knows the powers-that-be will purposely crash the economy should he (or any other republican) become president.

He’s sincere and looking for some sort of a civil service job.

EVERY day we’re hearing more and more breathless jobs reports —rosier than the Rose Garden.

And NO ONE believes them.

Again, Trump is SAYING what people have long already been thinking.

I completely agree.

Our “leaders” have been on China’s side for the entire last generation.

We need to be on America’s side.

Donald Trump is the first person anywhere of substance, who I have heard supporting America.

Anywhere. For the entire last generation.

You can be sure Valerie has all kinds of boobie traps set if a Republican succeeds her puppet.

He was saying this last summer before the brutal volatility started.

so much for ‘morning in America’. I think Trump is going to be very sorry he said that. It’s like campaigning on a platform admitting that you will raise taxes.

Well if the GOP treasonists get their way and Hillary is elected, a recession will be the least of our problems.

Or perhaps he’s saying — bad stuff is coming. Everyone knows its coming. You’re going to want someone who understands how economics really works. It’s not Hillary. It’s not Bernie. It’s not Cruz either. Bad stuff is coming: make a smart decision.

We have been getting massive warnings from all the 'markets' and economy/banking experts ...

I would finish this sentence a little differently:

We have been getting massive warnings from all the 'markets' and economy/banking experts FOREVER

There is always some "Expert" somewhere out there in Wall Street Land who will tell us that the end is near. Face it, Trump screwed up. Again. The Worst Week in Campaign Trump continues.

We're already in recession.

The media has been oh so helpful to assure us nothing is "wrong" with the Obameconomy.

When the big O is out of office, it will be unmasked.

It won't be pretty.

For real, just how many people really think the economy is great?

If Obama was a republican, you'd never hear the end of the media screaming about how awful the last 7 years have been.

The rich have gotten richer, and the middle class has been decimated.

Once the free money spigot is turned off, Katie Bar the Door!
There is nothing to prop up it up.

The previous bubble of life-long property appreciation was sucked dry. The 401K vacuumn will be brief and massive. Then the relentless printing will resume.

The Fed should take advantage of this last step and pay off our entire National Debt in ink-still-wet Obama bucks. A few truckloads of $1,000,000 Federal Reserve Notes should do it. Just drop them from airplanes as they fly around the world.

Me? I’ll be raising chickens and goats, growing Quinoa, Lentils and Black Currants, and distilling my own cask-aged “Medicine” for local consumption.

Oh yeah, . . . and an acre of Sinsemilla as a cash crop.

It would be better to say that good times are coming— for those who take the right steps to Make America Great Again. (But woe to those who ignore the signs of the times...)

Ha. Maybe I missed my calling— as a spin doctor.

Every sensible person knows we can’t keep borrowing from our children, grandchildren and their grandchildren as this evil president has doubled the national debt to $20 TRILLION. The merry-go-round will definitely stop. It’s only a matter of time. Sacrifice to pay off your debts as soon as you can. Buy only things useful to your survival.
