That would generate close to $0.9 trillion dollars yearly all by itself.
Cut departments, Cut welfare. Start making people pull their own way. I think folks would be surprised how fast we could get to $2 trillion dollars yearly.
Look, if he only lowers it $10 trillion in eight years, we wind up with $10-13 trillion in debt, and continue on for another eight years.

Just the cessation of the subsidization of vicious bastards would add to the wealth in an immense way. Think of the damage this progeny does to just their own communities, the businesses they drive away, the businesses never undertaken because the capital for such is stolen. It is immense.

So let’s do both...sell stuff the govt doesn’t need, put people back to work, cut departments/welfare. If as you say that latter cuts 10 trillion, then maybe they don’t have to sell as much of the former.

How much would we get if folks who were on sometype of assistance could do necessary jobs or maintenance that governments have no money to pay regular employees to do?
I know some localities allow folks to work off their property taxes that way, exchanging tax liability for needed work and computing the “virtual” hourly wage then applying it against their taxes. I think a volunteer system could be set up in the same way to reduce our national accumulated debts. I stress volunteer because such a system could be used to enslave people leading to revolt!
Agreed - had we not allowed our jobs and economy to be outsourced to Japan, Mexico, China etc we’d not have the debt and deficits. The fools in DC operate on behalf of globalists not Americans.
Look at all the revenue generated by the change in tax brackets during the Reagan years. Problem is – more revenue has always led to more spending. Revenue is not the problem.
