Cruz and Trump agree far more than 80% of the time (see my tagline from Ronald Reagan). They should be friends and allies, and we should treat both of them as such. We should not allow stories like this to divide the anti-establishment votees this year.

Yes, some of us can support Trump and others can support Cruz, but we should do it respectfully as allies with similar goals, not as enemies who hate each other more than we hate the true evil of Obama and Hillary.

The problem with that is one of those candidates is waging a scorched earth war against the other candidate. It isn’t about policy disagreements or about who’d be a better President. It is about crushing someone personally. There can be no alliance when one candidate calls the other mentally unstable, suggests that they’re an illegal alien, and attacks their wife. Would you ally with someone who did that to you?

I agree with you completely. I have stated on numerous posts that as a Cruz supporter I will gladly vote for Trump if he is the nominee. I have actually had some Trump supporters call me a liar when I stated that. I would rather have Cruz but I’m not married to the guy. Our ultimate goal is to keep Hillary’s fat a$$ out of the white house!!!

“......we should do it respectfully as allies with similar goals, not as enemies who hate each other more than we hate the true evil of Obama and Hillary.”....

Taking such a stance would surely not be acceptable with the media whores who want to keep the imaginary war between Trump and Cruz well kindled. God forbid the two get together and completely destroy the GOPeeeeeeee’s plan to get their own “wild card” candidate into place instead of either Trump or Cruz, its so obvious even a second grander can see it.
