The thing that the “Constitutional Conservatives” have in common with the Left is the totalitarian impulse. They’re mirror image of each other; “The Anointed” ones who know what is best for the rest of us.
If you don’t like the process in place, then you need to work to eliminate the two party system. Political parties make their own rules, not the states, not the federal government. Even if their was a “major” third party, it would be the same. I’m not defending this system, but it is what it is until changed by we the people.
