Hillary's Fingerprints on Selection of Aides' Layer
American Thinker ^ | April 4, 2016 | Jonathan F. Keiler

The news that Hillary Clinton’s closest aides have retained well-connected D.C. attorney Beth Wilkinson to represent them in their boss’ email scandal is bad news for those that held out some hope that justice would be done in the case. Instead, their joint hiring of Wilkinson, without objection from the Justice Department, strongly suggests that that Attorney General Loretta Lynch has no intention of pursuing charges against any of them, much less Hillary. The timing and terms of Wilkinson’s hiring have Clinton’s fingerprints all over them, demonstrating once again that when it comes to corruption and pulling strings to escape the consequences, nobody tops the Clintons.

“Petraeus was never charged or indicted.”

I thought Petraeus plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified documents.

You’re correct. He did accept a plea bargain. The DOJ never filed charges to present the evidence to a grand jury to get an indictment.

IOW, you don’t have to be charged, indicted, tried and found guilty to end up in front of a judge for sentencing.

The only thing I think has a good chance of happening is she’s forced out of the race due to crumbling polls numbers. At some point when the party decision makers understand the extent of her criminality and they see her dropping numbers, they’ll intervene.

One of the keys would be Sanders going on the offensive based on her criminality. The party doesn’t want Sanders so they’ll have to move Hillary out to bring someone to their liking into the race.

I doubt she’ll be charged and indicted.

Hillary got a $600.00 haircut and her hair has never looked worse!! Maybe the stylist is a Trumpster!

Maybe it is Trump's own stylist?

” ...you don’t have to be charged, indicted, tried and found guilty to end up in front of a judge for sentencing.”

I’m not a lawyer, but at a minimum it would seem that you have to be charged (or “indicted”) for a crime in order to be allowed to plea guilty to it! In any case, this article from Politico (I know ...) indicates that Gen. Petraeus *was* indicted.

Wow. The overwhelming volume of ugliness on the inside really does, sometimes, manifest on the outside, doesn’t it?

The evidence against Petraeus was never presented to a grand jury. Here’s what happened.

The author opines that Hillary or a connected entity will be paying for the “aides” lawyer. It’s not illegal I presume, for Hillary to “help her friends”, but sure would look bad. Who is really paying is something a real journalist needs to find out and publicize. My guess is that it’s not Hillary herself, but her supporters.

I think there is a fairly good chance Hillary or her aides will be at least charged by the FBI which will hopefully be enough to tank her numbers. Trump may have to do the heavy lifting for Sanders, though, as he has pretty much done all along unless the leaks become too blatant to ignore.

I don’t mean to split hairs, but the WP article you linked has the following sentence:

“Petraeus, in the end, pleaded guilty last year to a misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified material.”

So, it appears that the Justice Department never presented the *felony* charge to a grand jury, but instead charged Petraeus with a *misdemeanor* to which he plead guilty.

I agree. I’m not a lawyer either ... thank God. From that POV he was charged.

That’s a fake smile. With a real smile, there will be some wrinkling near the “crow’s feet” area of your eyes. She’s just faking it, and judging by her wrinkles, she fakes a LOT of smiles and rarely ever smiles for real.

That’s what I’m watching for. The coke-bottle-bottom glasses. They’re REALLY thick. REALLY thick. When she whips those out I start to wonder, problem with the eyes? or problem with brain processing info sent back from eyes. I keep wondering about the rumors that she got brain damage during a landing in Bosnia.
