Limbaugh is sadly apparently, not a supporter of American-based trade, not like Trump is.

Cruz is not a supporter of American-based trade, not like Trump is.

NOBODY is supporting American manufacturing.

Trump is though, and that is why the entire political establishment, all of the media (who is otherwise 100% sold out to the massive foreign manufacturing monster) and frankly even the strongest of our side, are now against Trump.

Limbaugh you are watering down, your very longest term supporters.

Cruz is not going to bring back American jobs.

What is more conservative, than supporting American manufacturing?

What?

So basically, Trump has adopted Bernie Sanders’ position on trade.

I got disgusted with Rush years ago when he pushed NAFTA. People like Rush toss the word “conservative” around - saying Trump is not conservative above - as though they invented the word. What the freak does Rush mean by conservative?

National sovereignty
Secure borders
Law and order - gov must follow the laws
Simplify taxes
Clean out fraud, waste and abuse from Gov spending
Education locally controlled, no common core, cut/eliminated Dept of Ed
Cut red tape and strangling regulations that harm businesses and individuals
Drastically cut the EPA
Stronger and cheaper military
Cut legal immigration down and entirely stop illegals, deport them
All immigrants must prove they can support themselves
No “Syrian” “refugees”
No more mozlems into the US until the jihad problem is solved
Pro-life
Pro 2nd Amendment
Freedom of religious expression
Wants to get Supreme C. Justices who will overturn RvW andf the “gay” marriage decision
Bring manufacturing back to the US and jobs back to the US
Clean out the VA and take better care of vets
Eliminate ACA and make insurance companies cross state lines (and other plans) so health care is better and more affordable

That’s what I can think of off the top of my head - positions Trump has detailed. How are the above not conservative?

Rush makes me gag. I started listening to him in the late 80s when he was local in Sacramento. He changed. Much for the worse.

It’s not conservative to raise tariffs, a.k.a. taxes on almost everything people buy at retail stores like Walmart.

It’s not conservative to beg the government to prop up companies and industries with crony capitalism when they can’t survive on their own in the free marketplace.

Cruz is going to slash taxes and regulations which is the real problem for some U.S. companies. Cruz is going to get the government out of the way so companies can be more competitive. That is pro-American and pro-capitalism 100%.

Bingo.

Everyone here knows about the loss of jobs, manufacturing and businesses. Who will turn that around? Who CAN?

It’s business. That’s Trump.

All the negatives come from those who want the US to be utterly destroyed. There’s so much money at stake. Being negative pays well.

Someone I know has also suggested that it may just be to the point that media are not only paid, but are also now threatened.

Has Rush ever talked about losing America’s manufacturing base? Has he ever talked about the free trade deals? Not that I remember. I listened to him since he came on the air in the eighties and I don’t recall him discussing these important nation changing issues.
