Second most important point - republicans in NY KNOW exactly what Cruz meant and agree with him. Third most important point - only registered republicans can vote in NY primary which means if dems, conservative party and all others would have had to have changed their affiliation on 10/9/15 to vote republican ballot.
Not saying Cruz will win NY but Trump is unlikely to get 50% even though he canceled CA and CO visits to try to ensure he does.
