It's not right to attribute to Cruz, the actions of a Cruz supporter.
I would expect Cruz supporters to attack Trump, with vigor.

Although I’ll vote for him if he winds up the nominee, and despite the fact that he was a favorite of mine starting out this election cycle, I really can’t stand this guy (Cruz) at this point. He is now just like so many other election cycles - one of the least of bad choices. He has shown that he clearly will do almost anything to get elected. Just like the rest of the lot. Career politicians and integrity are mutually exclusive.
Cruz is cunning certainly. Serpentine.
His blind ambition and arrogance has finally allowed the masks to fall and now he stands in the sunlight, exposed for what and who is REALLY is and it ain't pretty.
