Jindal: GOP may become useless, but will win in November
The Washington Examiner ^ | April 11, 2016 | Ryan Lovelace

The former Louisiana governor told the Washington Examiner the danger facing the Republican Party is not a single candidate such as Donald Trump, but an identity crisis brought on by ignoring conservative principles.

"It's certainly fair to describe the Republican Party as the worst political party out there except for all the alternatives," Jindal said. "I don't see at this point in time a viable alternative for conservatives to go out there and implement and present our principles, but I do think if the Republican Party continues to move away from our conservative principles, at some point it is fair to question, why does the party exist?"

Jindal also urged the party not to change its nominating rules to benefit any particular candidate, and said it's important not to view Trump's rise as part of a passing fad.

To the extend that “conservative principles” have come to equal “free trade and open borders” the voters are rejecting them.

Sure Bobby, GOP lied to the Voters sense the 2010 Elections

Turned on the Tea Party who got them the majority .

Lied again in 2014 Elections

They changed the rules to favor liberal turncoat who denounce Reagan in the 1982 debate with Ted Kennedy.

Bobby when is enough of the the GOP establishment actions enough

The GOP is already useless—Not a dime’s worth of difference between them and the DIMS.

Open borders, bad trade agreements, and the US taxpayer paying for our military to be the worlds police force are NOT conservative principles.

Yep. You get it as do most voters in the rust belt which is key to a GOP win. They still don’t. An absolute floor for the Democrats is 45% = the number of easily duped minority voters and palefaced parasites + the senior element who thinks they are still voting for FDR or JFK. Add the richest 2% who really won’t be affected either way and some of whom actually fear a revitalized middle class and you’ve got a very narrow margin for error . . . and no path to 270 electoral votes for anyone but the Democrats in a three-way race.

The GOP exists to advance the interests of the GOP, not the people.

Jindal left behind an ultraliberal Democrat successor, much like GHWB and GWB.

Of course the GOP will win in November. Of course, your understanding of "win" probably doesn't mesh with the UniParty's understanding of "win"...

As long as that train keeps on chuggin' inside the beltway - the GOP wins!

RNC / GOPe annoys me far more than typical Liberals...way, way, way more.
I naturally expect Liberals to be liberal...and therefore against my core beliefs.
Republicans elected we wish on OUR side...not part of a secretive uniparty cabal against us.

Why would anyone listen to Jindal? He was a disaster as a governor and an even bigger disaster as a Presidential Candidate.

****************************

That’s the crux of it right there.
The citizens want to retain the rule of law and their country and the GOP is determined that we will not.

The only time the GOP/Party become useFUL is when the gullible (base) are required during election times.

*I*, for one, haven’t seen much, if at all, ‘useful’ come OUT of the GOP/Party for the masses, let alone the BASE.

And, yes, I’ll put voting AGAINST XYZ up against TSA, NSA, DHS, NCLB, ‘religion of Peace’, latest ‘budget’, O’Care, exec. amnesty, TPP/TPA, confirmations, etc....I don’t consider 2+ steps forward for each step ‘back’ (if there WAS a step back) as ‘restoring our Republic’/limited govt.

The GOP exists to advance the interests of the GOP, not the people

They do so by providing their masters, the oligarch moneymen, with what they want. Cheap labor, open borders, and a Constitution that can be ignored when it does not suit their masters wants or needs. The people are useful idiots to them, and are needed only at state or federal election times. All other times they are nothing of importance to them.
