Senate Resolution 511 supported John McCain’s eligibility as a natural born citizen. He was not born on US soil. The resolution also refers to unnamed earlier candidates for the Presidency who were considered eligible although not born on US soil (probably thinking of George Romney, not sure who else would be intended).

That’s why I wish we had debates between Trump and Cruz. It really doesn’t matter who you’re supporting, but it would put conservatism on display for a large television audience. As it is, we get clips that are edited by television for people to see.

Don’t you know Donald wrote the constitution and the bill of rights, along with the bible and declaration of independence?

1. March 30: Trump claims MSNBC edited their released version of his interview with Chris Matthews in which Trump stumbled on abortion: “You really ought to hear the whole thing. I mean, this is a long convoluted question. This was a long discussion, and they just cut it out. And, frankly, it was extremely — it was really convoluted.” Nope; that was a lie.

Trump is absolutely correct on this point.

He had an extended give and take with Matthews on the subject of abortion...in fact it was the first time in a while I've seen someone in that kind of exchange give good push back to a liberal.

Matthews eventually trapped him using rhetoric, but not before Trump put Matthews on the hot seat regarding Matthews own views on abortion and how they didn't line up with the teachings of the Catholic church.

Donnie Deceptive is three times a fool, so I guess he’s an idiot.

I wouldn’t call any of the GOP candidates liars. But Mr. Trump is clearly a whiner.

What, are you prejudice?

Against non-natural born Americans, yes.

If Cruz still had Cuban ancestry but both parents were naturalized U.S. citizens, it wouldn't be an issue.

My gut tells me that Cruz is being played as the GOPe’s useful idiot. If he derails Trump, the GOPe stabs him in the back to make room for one of their own. The GOPe hates Cruz and until recently has made it abundantly clear. Only when they need Trump removed do they snuggle up to Cruz. Once Cruz is no longer needed he will be disposed of and he won’t know what hit him.

I wish Trump and Cruz would team up and crush the GOPe. It would make the country a better place.

Making campaign contributions to and helping elect Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Bill Deblasio

Trump never donated to any of these people.

He’s hesitant on public land being taken care of by states? That’s an assinine reason not to vote for him...

I agree more land should be given back to the states but I’m worried about more important issues than whether I’m treading on state or federal land.

I think it’s time for you to give it up.

Neither the public (nor more importantly the courts) are buying it.

“I’m voting for who will fix Washington.”
Or not. How the hell do you know?

I would be voting for a guy who worships one thing that always makes America great - US Constitution. There is no effing difference between humans on this planet, be it Zimbabwe or California - except for the US Constitution. There is not a shred of evidence that he will do anything that is unconstitutional. Good enough for me.

Rafael “Ted” Cruz is ineligible to seek the Presidency and will be destroyed by either/or Clinton operatives or Obama’s DOJ.

This is a doozie. Chortle!

9. March 21: Trump lies, “Out of 67 counties (in Florida), I won 66, which is unprecedented. It's never happened before.” Nope. In 2004, John Kerry won all 67 counties for the Democrats; in 2000, Al Gore won all 67 for the Democrats and. George W. Bush won all 67 for Republicans. In 1996, Bob Dole took 66 of 67 counties for the GOP primary and the 67th was a tie between Dole and Pat Buchanan in Washington County.

I agree completely. The inclusion of so many candidates initially really fed the debates as so many tried to ridicule the others and just ended up in ratings.

Thanks for the post and willing to listen and write without prejudice.

It's okay...we'll drive. Too many people bailing out of the Bozo Bus at every stop.

Bus stops every 50 yards now.

Used to prefer screwdrivers back in the day.

Stopped to leave the rest of you some vodka.

heh.

I say and will always say that I will enthusiastically vote for whomever the nominee is. We just can’t afford a Hillary or a Bernie. Period. That’s far too devastating to what’s left of the Republic.

The GOP is being played by Cruz, This aint his first RODEO. He Ran against one of this Country’s strongest State GOP organizations, headed up by Pres. BUSH and Rove and beat them both, TWICE.
What was he suppose to do with all this money and GOP support, Tell them to take a long walk on a short pier? It’s politics, not beanbag.

Donald needs to open up the purse strings abit, it’s his only chance and he’s just to damn cheap.....10B, yeah sure.
