Gun maker Beretta USA is opening a new factory on Friday, the culmination of generous land and tax offers in Tennessee and restrictive gun laws at its old Maryland location.
Beretta USA is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at the recently built facility in Gallatin, Tennessee, on April 15, having moved all manufacturing from Maryland.
The new factory is 160,000 square feet, compared to 115,000 square feet if left behind, said Gabriele de Plano, vice president of defense marketing and operations for Beretta USA.
"We've got plenty of space to expand as well," he said.

Remington did it also, moving to Alabama from New York.
Liberals are their own worst enemy.
Now Beretta needs to refuse to sell to law enforcement in Maryland.
GA was going to get Berretta but Nathan Deal effed it up and now they are going to Tenn.
I’m surprised some obscure EPA law or an Obama DoJ flunky didn’t stop them.

I could be wrong on some of this but I think they own SAKO which owns Tikka and Valmet. They own Browning which owns Winchester and FN in Belgium which might be the largest gun factory in the world. They also own several in Italy including Uberti and Benelli.
But at least they feel good about themselves.
Always carry my Beretta 8000F Cougar 9mm. Wonderful weapon!
Remington did it also, moving to Alabama from New York.
I was surprised when Ruger set up a shop in Mayodan, NC I thought they would put all their Non-NH eggs in AZ.

That’s a brand I don’t own.

I have a cougar in .45
I have a Beretta 96S, a really great home defense weapon. No way with a Glock.
Uberti!
I have three of these beauties and Beretta has done very well by them.
I loves me my Beretta....92FS, yessir...
I’m not an expert but I did buy a Browning Hi-Power recently so I’m a little bit studied on these companies. I believe FN actually owns Browning not vice versa. I am not aware of a connection between Beretta and FN, although maybe it’s there up at the mega conglomerate level.
No gun fits my hand as well as the Browning Hi-Power.
I improved on perfection by adding Hogue rubber grips.
It does feel amazing in the hand. And I love the all steel heft. And darned if it isn’t drop dead gorgeous. My only minor complaint is the ambi safety,
