Watch man confront defiant Kasich: Your 'responsibility to democracy' is to leave race

Despite only winning his home state of Ohio, Kasich continued to defend his staying in the race as he spoke to voters and host Chris Matthews at an MSNBC town hall in New York Thursday.

Audience member Steve Young confronted Kasich on his "responsibility to voters," reminding the Ohio governor that his poll numbers don’t seem to indicate a GOP nomination.

"Don't you think at some point you have a responsibility to voters to recognize the fact that they're not voting for you," Young asked, noting that Kasich’s message does not seem to have resonated.
.

.
Kasich again made the case for his candidacy and staying in the race, quoting famous New York Yankee Yogi Berra, "It ain't over till it's over."

So this guy was telling the GOP-e candidate to shut up and go away?

As much as America wants that to happen, it really isn’t up to some random heckler to make that decision.

I think I know where the guy is coming from and it’s about the farce the GOP has turned this election into.

You have a frontrunner by far who is obviously who the majority of people want then you have two guys who can’t win and can’t catch the frontrunner. The guy was trying to say to stop the GOP maneuvering and let the frontrunner who is the only one who can win, win.

I’m with him. Cruz and Kasich have made it clear they’re just there to hose the election and I don’t think that’s a valid reason to be in the race.

Even if he got in on a 3rd ballot, he can't possibly get enough votes. He might not even win his home state against the Dems. He said he was opposed to same-sex marriage.

On the first debate night, he got in a word or two, and I thought he was well-spoken, said he'd attended a gay wedding. I don't think I could, but I'm not the gov of Ohio.

Is he one of our in-the-closet pols?

Kasich, “It’s important that people hear they have a God given purpose.”

Thanks, John. What a clown. I don’t need to hear that from you, John.

John, You’re a spoiler operative for the GOPe. Now shut up.

We all know why this clown is staying in the race. If Trump ends up with 1200 to 1235 delegates, they then nominate another on the second ballot.

At that time, the Trump supporters walk.

To hell with the whole works, if they want this country to end up in civil war, then throw down and get to it.

I would have joined him if I had been there so it could have been two random hecklers. So...

Kasich has the right to stay in the race just as long as he wants to just as all the one’s who dropped out did.

I think if Trump has 1200 they cant deny him. Kasich and Cruz are there to try to keep him under 1100. Cruz was on Hannity radio on April 4th and Hannity pushed him on this. Said “Sen Cruz, you have repeatedly said Kasich should drop out because he has no clear path” “What if you cant get to 1237”. Cruz tried to dance around and Sean pushed for an answer. Cruz replied that he has no intention to drop out. “If Trump is the nominee, Hillary wins”. So it is all about #nevertrump. Nothing else.
