for all you National Lampoon Family Vacation fans, Ted Cruz is the pea green family truckster candidate ... If you think you hate him now, wait until you get to know him better

I think that's true too. I gave Cruz a pass on the 'no one who knows him likes him, and it looks like many many in his past didn't like him' thing ... because often, people with integrity are not liked by many - so it can be a good thing. Or, it's a good thing if 'the right people' don't like you.
But I've turned from that to thinking he's just arrogant and out for himself / his vision FOR himself, so no one likes him.
Ted Cruz is missing something that makes a man a human being. Maybe he was born with a permanent lack, maybe he just hasn't had the right life experiences. Either way - not ready to lead right now, maybe never.

Could it be they think Trump will be the easier candidate to destroy in the general election? They're sadly mistaken if they believe that. Sadly for THEM, that is. :)

Why not give him 8 years to prove who and what he is?
**************
Eight years would be one of his longest if not his longest tenure at any job. He basically
moves from position to position every few years and doesn’t stay around in one long. It’s
almost as if he gets bored. IMO he won’t stay as senator beyond his current term if he
even finishes that.

Agreed ...
Hopefully the country is cured of it's one-time-senator addiction, where it can project all its ice cream lollipop fantasies onto whomever the next most recent blank slate is.
