Incumbent RINO's worried about losing their jobs? I don't think a broadly inclusive GOP candidate like The Donald is a risk for RINO Senators. Senators on the wrong side of 3 big issues 1)Illegal Immigration 2)TPP and other disastrous trade deals and 3)Regulations killing jobs in the US have LOTS to worry about.

Voting for TPP killed the prospects of re-election for Capito, Toomey & Ayotte, not The Donald.

let there be down ballot issues. those who supported the horrible 2015 omnibus, Paul Ryan for Speaker and Mitch as majority leader need to be retired permanently.

Peabody Coal going bankrupt and being bought on the cheap by Soros wont’t help the Establshment, either at least with the little people who can still vote

You are completely right.

The GOP stands to win BIG if Trump is president.

Big.

It is the way the GOP has been running the country into the wall, which is the reason ever-more Americans are p*ssed-off and demanding something different.

The GOP is (badly) mismanaging things.

Well, then get on board the Trump train. Yeah, you WILL have “down ballot” concerns if the base thinks you are part of the “nevertrump” idiots.

If the majority of a party I helped was replete with lying dirt bag political cowards with no allegiance to the voters, I’d be worried, too.

Right now, my only vote will be for President. Both my Congressman and the one Senator up for re-election need to be fired.

Down ballot worries will be on Democrat side. people are not going to make such a radical change as voting complete outsider then leave him with no underpinning. For many first time in long time or first time ever voters it will be a frenzy of pulling same lever all the way down the column.

These folks are clueless. If the nomination is stolen from Trump, a lot of lifelong Republicans will not vote for anyone who hasn't embraced Trump. There will be NO crossover or young voters to replace us.

If Sanders isn't nominated and Trump is, the crossover or independent vote belongs to Trump and Republicans who aren't shy about saying they embrace the opportunity to work with him.

I'd assume the US Senate is already gone. So many of the turncoats are up for re-election. In OH, Senator Portman will be kamikazied for endorsing Kasich unless he jumps on the Trump Train.

The Silent Majority Stands With Trump"

Perhaps after the shenanigans which CO Republicans exposed, it should read the SILENCED majority.

Look what Trump is doing! Has anyone EVER staged huge events in locations such as Poughkeepsie and Watertown in NY or in Hartford CT? Trump is bringing it to tens of thousands of formerly ignored US citizens EVERY DAY while Teddie and the Cruzers figure out the best promises to make to own delegates.

What Trump and Sanders have done is blow up the corrupt process! Hopefully the elite can NEVER put it back together.

Humm, hypothetically speaking, if your choice were between a perceived Crook and a Commie, as opposed to a Traditional Businessman, which "line" would you get enthused about? Would you turn out at all if you didn't care for any of the choices, etc.? The odds are the GOP concerns are BOGUS as they are only protecting their own pockets, not ours. JMO

My Moderate US Rep Stephen Fincher of Frog Jump, TN is not running for another term. At least 4 GOP are running for the seat. I can support Tom Leatherwood as I’ve known him to be a Christian man of his word and he’s reformed the Shelby CO. (Memphis) Trustee’s office, and he was also my State Senator. Kept his word 2 terms and out.

Kelsey would be the second choice, but there is NO way I’d vote for the RINOS Kustoff or Flynn. Kustoff is establishment GOPe. Flynn is all over the map his son is a Dem commissioner. There is no doubt the man is a genius, but let him stick to medical and communications fields.

Why do you think the GOP are fighting tooth and nail to stop Trump and why they have decided to go to cruz?

What I want to know is how it’s going to effect state reps? I’d love to be rid of my inconsistent moderate R. I voted against her 2 years ago. But she has a big war chest against a unknown. My State Sen. Is very conservative so I’d like to keep him, and he’s not up for election until the next governor’s election, and from where I sit I see US Sen Bob Corker RINO filthy rich, huge war chest wanting that position. He’s been a US Sen long enough to want to rule Tennessee. Which would be 2 RINOS in a row. And he’s worse than halsam is.

I have to choose a new US Rep as my RINO is getting out. Tom Leatherwood is my choice as I know him and he’s a man of his word. Former State Sen and Trustee for Shelby Co, TN where he reorganized and improved the position where it is now a well run one. Good family man and Christian.

What you fail to see is that when millions who plan to behave as you plan to do and one of the socialist democrats is elected president as a direct result of your decisions, it won't matter how you voted down-ballot.

I understand that it's early in the election cycle for this, but realize that it is ultimately irrelevant that an intelligent person may despise Trump or Cruz or Kasich or any RINO for that matter, the point is to regain control of one's emotions and know the alternative is far, far worse.

Why do I care if the Repubs lose the majority in Congress? Nothing happened while they had a majority. So what?
