“I have been long convinced that ANY Republican will beat ANY Democrat this election.”

In a normal year, absolutely. But not this year. Not coming out of a contested election that splits the party. If Cruz had gotten to 1237, I’d say his chance was good. But not after the voters get an up close and personal look at the mess we’re going to put on display in Cleveland if it goes past a first ballot.

“I suspect that most are actually truly patriotic and will regain their sanity when Trump quits inciting them to act like him and his 4th grade Playground bully act...”

It will only take a few percent in a few battleground states to stay home and it’s all over. Republican voters have proven the last two cycles that they’re perfectly willing to do that.

If you really want to hold a genuine dialog and hold any credibility, you need to remove the Trump rose colored glasses. Not advocating jumping from Trump, just “consider” reality.

Whenever Trump stops the agitation and the masses see how boring a Convention really is, it will be surprising (to some) how FEW voters give two hoots about how the GOP makes their sausage and will be happy to not have to hear again this “political crap” until late September.

Either hitlery or Bernie are the worst possible candidates the dems could run. Even Yeb would not have had trouble beating them like a rented mule.
