Ted Cruz boasted Monday morning that he has won 'landslides' in the last five states to award Republican convention delegates, even though only one of those states held a popular-vote election.
'There have been a total of five states that have voted in the last three weeks,' he claimed during a town hall event on 'Good Morning America.'
'In those states, starting with Utah, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado and Wyoming, 1.3 million people voted in those states. And he lost all five. We have won five in a row, and Donald's upset so he's throwing a fit.'
Cruz reiterated moments later that in 'five states in a row, we've won landslides over and over and over again.'

What needs to be done is for Cruz and whatsisface...you know...the third guy...to get behind the Obiwan.
>>>”1.3 million people voted in those states”
So, “voterless” is an obvious lie.
The best explanation I’ve seen on Kennedy’s death is that it was an accident.
The first two bullets that hit Kennedy in the back were full metal jacket. The FMJ bullet found was consistent with Oswald’s rifle.
The bullet that hit Kennedy in the head was a fragmentation round, not FMJ. It broke into multiple pieces. The entry hole was a different size than Oswald’s rifle. The fragmentation bullet could not have been fired by Oswald’s rifle.
Those are known facts. The bullet evidence by itself is enough to eliminate Oswald as the lone shooter.
Who was carrying weapons loaded with fragmentation rounds in the correct caliber to make the hole in Kennedy’s head? The secret service agents riding in the car following Kennedy.
IMHO, the most likely scenario is: Oswald starting firing; upon hearing the gunfire a secret service agent in the trailing car pulled his weapon, he had a negligent discharge, and the bullet from that discharge struck the president.
A lot of the after the fact stuff (Oswald’s murder; the commission’s lone gunman conclusion) make sense under this scenario. To tell the public that a government agent (even just by accident) shot the president would have been chaos. Hence, it was covered up.
Now, who put Oswald up to it is a different question.
Yup, they use Alinsky tactics to make you think you are outnumbered.
In the FR caucus polls, the ratio of Trump supporters to Cruz supporters is around 3:1, last I heard. We ARE the majority.
From Conservative Treehouse
In every poll Donald Trump wins the he-is-who-he-is factor.
As Lee Atwater would tell you, thats critically important. Once the broader electorate sense who you are, and become comfortable with that sensibility, there is a remarkable shift toward granting the benefit of doubt in policy and change.
[The most recent example of such a benefactor was Bill Clinton in his prime.]
However, in the same polls, Ted Cruz is viewed as the candidate willing to tell you everything you want to hear so long as it benefits him. Thats the authenticity issue. Just as there is a long-term benefit in positive authenticity polling, there is a long-term detriment in negative authenticity polling.
Opinions of authenticity are almost impossible to change once they embed. The word almost is an understatement, because no politician in modern times has ever been able to reverse the authenticity component.
Bernie Sanders also benefits from positive opinions in authenticity, and Hillary Clinton is viewed similarly to Cruz as inherently inauthentic as a matter of mere disposition.
Cruz’ bid for the GOP nomination has the support of 90% of people who want to see Hillary Clinton in the White House.
The only state people got to vote in was WI, 1.1 million, so there’s only 200,000 in those 4 other states?
it’s amazing how few people it takes to give the impression of being a majority if they’re loud enough
So, voterless is an obvious lie.
A couple of things. First, this is from Dead State. I hate to go there, but I did. Second, Trump is leading in CA, this guy has Cruz winning 152 delegates to Trump’s 30. That ain’t gonna happen. I could see a more even split of the votes like what happened in MO. The author strikes me as a die hard sports fan who lets his love for a team get in the way of reality while making a bet. He would be the guy that would pick New Mexico State to win the national title because he went there.
What you said.
I have not seen it reported that this is exactly what Trump said twice yesterday, at two different appearances: he said bribery was wrong and he was not going to go there and play that game. (I posted an FR thread on it.)
But the "conservative" media and MSM continue to say, "the Cruz ground game", and other euphemisms for one thing: corruption. (WHICH by the way according to govt regulations for political party primaries, is LEGAL---it's legal to bribe delegates as long as it's an individual donor, as opposed to a union, corporation, etc. Cruz is playing the game as it's always been played; problem is he poses as being "moral" and Christian, etc.)
Kristol Lays Out Strategy to Give White House to Hillary: Trump Shouldnt Win
Well, I agree with that... it was buried in tiny print in a jpg, good catch.
Cute cartoon. He annoyed some umpires and the tennis establishment.
Did he usually lose or win?
John Patrick McEnroe, Jr. (born February 16, 1959) is an American former World No. 1 professional tennis player, often rated among the greatest of all time in the sport, especially for his touch on the volley.[a] He won seven Grand Slam singles titles (three at Wimbledon and four at the US Open), nine Grand Slam men’s doubles titles, and one Grand Slam mixed doubles title. He also won a record eight year-end championships, 19 Grand Prix Super Series titles, and finished his career with 77 ATP-listed singles titles and 78 in doubles.
McEnroe is known for his shot-making artistry and volleying skills; for his rivalries with Björn Borg, Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl; and for his confrontational on-court behavior, which frequently landed him in trouble with umpires and tennis authorities.
