Wasn’t there a mechanical pencil called koh-i-noor?
Yep, just googled it.

When I was in high school in the mid 60s I took real drafting. I had a whole set of them. Nice pens. I had to work part-time to get them however.

From what I've seen of Indians is they are a bunch of cocky, non humble people that think they are superior to the rest of the world. I've seen this with the Indian doctors at my VA hospital which is about 60-70% Indian, Which is a big beef of mind and that is why can't the VA hospital system hire true born in America Americans.
Ok I've gotten off to a tangent with my local VA hospital, but anyway to get back on track, In my opinion India was far better off when Great Britain ruled over them in the early 20th century, as was most of the territory Great Britain controlled before WWII.

Actually, I find Sikhs and Hindus to be humble and friendly people. As most people do.
I don’t care what a doctor is as log as he/she is good and compassionate. And asking for no furrners is rather ironic coming from an American.
I agree re the Empire, but I am greatly fascinated by Indian (Sikh/Hindu/Muslim) culture and history. India has thousands of years of fascinating art, literature, religion....

That territory would include what is now the US. In my opinion, India is far better off under the control of it's own people - it's now one of the largest economies in the world, and it no longer suffers famines as a result of having it's food output being commandeered by foreign rulers.

None. Diamonds are not edible.

Because very few America Americans are going to medical school or any other STEM disciplines.

I don’t think diamonds are very digestible :(

This is because most of the Indians you are going to meet in America are from the highest caste, the Brahmins, because they’re the ones who can afford to come here for school and immigrate, start businesses, etc. The Brahmin are used to looking down on everyone else, because that is their place in society back home, where they are literally “privileged” in the way that silly leftists like to accuse everyone of being.

My gut feeling then from what you have noted is that the Brahmins run everything as far as politics go and the individuals in the lower castle system probably don't get much voice or vote as far as what goes on in the country. But as I have noted I can only go on my gut feeling since I have little knowledge of these countries like India.

Because very few America Americans are going to medical school or any other STEM disciplines. Because most of the "America Americans" that are interested in STEM are white males who are barred from the multiple scholarships available to the favored, er, "disadvantaged", identity groups. Not to mention the admission set-aside rules, which prevent them from getting into the programs in the first place.
