Thanks for sharing, interesting perspective. My gut feeling then from what you have noted is that the Brahmins run everything as far as politics go and the individuals in the lower castle system probably don't get much voice or vote as far as what goes on in the country. But as I have noted I can only go on my gut feeling since I have little knowledge of these countries like India.
Yep, that is exactly how it is. Their caste system is still used to determine social status and the types of jobs you can do. So most of the people in the government, media, university professors, doctors, lawyers, are Brahmin. They do have popular elections so everyone gets a vote, but the Brahmins are the ones running the political parties, no matter who gets elected.
