Inadvertently? LOL. There’s nothing wrong with working with the head of the party in a state before the delegates for that state are chosen (esp. when he’s the Senate Majority Leader that you’ll have to work with if you win!). The Cruz people obviously think that it’s better to work with the governor of a state to create a unity slate representative of the vote and then double-cross the governor and put in all their own people, as Cruz did in Maine to Gov. Le Page and against the will of the Maine voters.
