How About Bill Clinton? Hayes Suggests Hastert Abuse Continued Beyond HS

As far-left MSNBC hosts go--an admittedly low bar--I'll admit to having found Chris Hayes a relatively fair and decent proponent of his misguided policies. But he did two things tonight that made me lose respect for him. First, he literally laughed in the face of Rick Tyler, calling "preposterous" his depiction of Donald Trump as a "northeastern liberal progressive." This despite Trump's record of donating to . . . northeastern liberal progressives and describing himself, among other things, as "very pro-choice." Would Hayes ever be so rude to a liberal guest?

Even worse when it comes to hypocrisy, it is hard to top Hayes' skeptical suggestion about Denny Hastert's pattern of sexual abuse of boys: "good Lord Almighty do I wonder whether that just stopped when he left the precints of Yorkville high school?" Come back and reclaim your integrity, Chris, when you wonder the same about post-White House Bill Clinton. Orgy Island, anyone?

What I would like to know is who in the Republican leadership knew about Hastert's little problem and did nothing about it. I'd like to know what things they did that were why people in DC never tell on each other.

Back in the Condit research days, we found some references online to group sex parties of some kind in DC where some powerful people engaged. This is all hearsay and gossip online, but three names I remember were Condit, Kasich, and the Speaker of the House Hastert. And I remember reading one woman’s comment on a message board how insane that rumor was, that Denny Hastert in such a high position would never...

Maybe Scarborough, but I KNOW Hastert was mentioned because people couldn’t believe it and said thst Hastert’s name proved it was just a rumor. Then later, knowing what we now know, Hastert seemed more believable.

This journalist is engaging in a lie of omission, by failing to note that Donald Trump donated heavily to BOTH political parties. As any such major real estate developer would.

He is lying to his readers, giving the false impression that he only donated to liberal progressives. And he further lies by implying he did so for political reasons, which would immediately be revealed if he told the truth about his donating to both parties...
