Austria Plans Fence to Stop Migrants at Border With Italy
NBC News ^ | April 27, 2016 | Reuters

Austria outlined plans Wednesday to erect a fence at a border crossing with Italy that is a vital link between northern and southern Europe, escalating a stand-off over how to handle a migration crisis.

Migrants are crossing the Mediterranean Sea from Africa to Italy in growing numbers, and Austria has said Rome must stop them from traveling onward toward northern Europe or it will have to introduce border controls at the Brenner Pass in the Alps.

But with Austrian preparations for controls already under way, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said Austria's move was "shamelessly against European rules, as well as being against history, against logic and against the future."

Mygosh, the global backstabbers are arrogant, tone deaf and out of control. It seems like this Italian Prime Minister, Renzi, just informed the world that he’s part of the scheme to destroy Europe. Another tool of the EU and globalist agenda.

“against the future”? What the hell does that mean?

It means, against the future of Islamic Europe, in which anyone who is not Muslim will at best be relegated to second-class citizen.

Matteo. Get back to me & let me know what you think when ISIS bulldozes Il Duomo, or reopens the Colosseum, and Christians are being killed there...again.

>>Migrants are crossing the Mediterranean Sea from Africa to Italy in growing numbers

And the only way to stop it is for the Italian Navy/Coast Guard to forcibly stop a few boats and sink them.

I’m starting to think that I may just live long enough to see the Austria-Hungary of my great-grandparents’ time reintegrated. Austria is one of the only sane “western” countries of the EU. If it petitioned to join the Vysegrad Group (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary) and then all 5 withdrew from the EU, to be able to manage their own borders, trade, and social policy, it would make a formidable bastion of stability and civilization.

Good, now Italy needs to keep the freeloaders out.

EVERY border should have a wall or fence. That would stifle movement of these insect invaders.

The Berlin Wall, China's Great Wall, and other defenses are never 100% effective, but they can come very close. What civilized countries need is a set of similar walls to keep invaders out. There should be concrete, barbed wire, dogs, guards, and whatever else is needed to make these walls as close to 100% effective as possible.

Then, once the border is secure, it would matter when we sent illegals home. When an illegal is discovered in Europe or America, that criminal should be arrested and deported, without delays or appeals (after fingerprinting and DNA swabs to make sure that criminal is never able to enter legally in the future).

One of these pictures is not like the others:

If a politician would just make defending his country's borders a priority, that person would be unstoppable. I wonder how Hillary's message of "it's a woman's turn, and I occasionally identify as a woman" would do against a patriotic message of "Make America great again" if we had such a politician.

No, Italy, like Greece, up to now has basically been just a bridge between Africa and northern Europe where the invaders want to go. Now that northern Europe is starting to close their side of the bridge, the invaders are going to be stuck in Italy and Greece. And that’s not good news for Renzi. He’s got a major problem in his hands. And that’s why he’s complaining. He now is faced with having to turn back the thousands that flood Sicily every day - not a small or pleasant task.
