And FR...
Every now & again, sCruz does something right. This is one of those times.
I’m not now officially a Cruz fan but that was pretty quick of him to catch the prank. With a lot else going on at the time I’m sure, it would have been easy to miss.
I’d expect any candidate to write a similar sentiment. Still doesn’t make him electable.
I’ll give him a kudo for doing something right.
Good job putting this brainless punk in his place.
probably a plant
Free Republic = all trump all the time
In many ways not really who he projects himself to be.
A hand writing analysis would be interesting on his signature , letters under the main line. I believe it indicates a an underlying personality. In other words what you see is not what you get. But I’m not an analyst. Love to hear from someone who does this
But when men have realized that time has upset many fighting faiths, they may come to believe even more than they believe the very foundations of their own conduct that the ultimate good desired is better reached by free trade in ideas -- that the best test of truth is the power of the thought to get itself accepted in the competition of the market, and that truth is the only ground upon which their wishes safely can be carried out.
That, at any rate, is the theory of our Constitution. It is an experiment, as all life is an experiment. Every year, if not every day, we have to wager our salvation upon some prophecy based upon imperfect knowledge. While that experiment is part of our system, I think that we should be eternally vigilant against attempts to check the expression of opinions that we loathe and believe to be fraught with death, unless they so imminently threaten immediate interference with the lawful and pressing purposes of the law that an immediate check is required to save the country.

“Suffered”?
That’s it?
I guess no one died. Whew! What a relief!
Tead wrong AGAIN!
Funny thing is that during the primary election in Florida, Cubans (2 million) did not know that Rafael Cruz had supported Castro and was a communist sympathizer. And he kept that sentiment up in Texas. Cruz safely settled far outside the Cuban exile community in Miami for good reason, he would have been fed to the sharks in Florida.
In Florida, siding with Fidel Castro is an unforgivable sin much much worse than being a Satanist. If Cruz’s allegiance to Castro had known about in March, Ted would have received a tiny fraction of the small 16% he won in Florida. Just another reason that Ted Cruz will always be unelectable in Florida.
And this explains the Cruz’s bypass of the Cuban Miami community. Too many questions would be asked and all that...
Hillary would have written “My favorite textbook”.
now if he could just swear off globalist economic policies
“How do you tell a communist? Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It’s someone who understands Marx and Lenin.” - Ronald Reagan
Friggin’ awesome! Way to go, Ted!
Millions have been murdered because of this, and millions are still suffering.
Wow and they even had a camera there to take a picture of Ted’s signature and Ted even had a pre-planned and fully canned speech ready to lecture the young man with in front of the camera.
Wow!
If I didn’t know any better I would suspect that this is a typical Cruz shill, and likely paid to give Ted this serendipitous press opportunity otherwise known as a staged photo op. That goes along with his speech about being the son of a Cuban immigrant under the castros and the scourge of communism. The only problem is his dad was with the Communists not against.
I believe Ted has no honor and I doubt this was a legitimate act on his part.
Just like all the other staged stuff he has pulled of late it’s a staged event just like his hiring Carly fiorina to be his vice president for $500,000.
Good one.
