Usenet was not a ‘blog’.
There was no such thing as blogs, back then.
It was the eventual result of ARPANET, which has been around forever, as in 1980.

I had shortwave radio 40 years ago. My uncle, a Navy comm guy, would tune the radio for Morse code. Very cool.
