And yet, that did not prevent you from making a mistake by starting this thread, IMO. It has been a failure.

It effectively contradicted Jim’s requests to stop the Cruz bashing. This thread just became another place where MANY Cruz bashers could and did continue to stupidly bash Cruz and their fellow FReepers that supported him.

It appears that not a single FReeper accepted your invitation to do an opus flame out here, instead there are even a few posts ridiculing your thread as a provocation.

And, what is really funny (or maybe not so much), more than a handful of FReepers totally misread your OP and thought that it was YOU that was posting your own opus.

Before this thread, I had no idea who you were. Against my better judgment, I looked at a few of your responses and now have some idea.

JUST WOW!!!!

A FreeRepublic mod deleted FReeper post #24 today that was nothing more than a perfectly well reasoned and calm explanation of an opinion as to why the FReeper would not cast a vote for Trump in the general presidential election. The post did NOT in any way what so ever attack FR or any other FReeper. The post did NOT in any way what so ever advocate a vote for anyone else, much less a liberal Dem. Yet it was deleted anyway, apparently for nothing more than that the FReeper merely did not express a 100% devotion and allegiance to Trump.

Jim, is this type of totally unjustified censorship what your FreeRepublic site has now descended to?

I am sorry your candidate lost and your butt hurts. Apparently it hurts a great deal. If it makes you feel better, I would vote for you being in charge of which threads are failures. Have at it. And if you wish, you can be my official critic. Jim can decide whether you can be his official critic.

I was still undecided between Trump and the true conservative, Cruz. That decision would have been made before our California primary, but circumstances have now made it for me.

The Cruz supporters will have to make a choice between supporting Trump or watching a career criminal, rape enabler, and national security threat become president. I hope they stay here on FR to help in the epic battle.

For my part, I am working on the script and trying to get the funding to produce The Mock Indictment of Hillary Clinton. If I can get the backing, the plan is to stream it as a $2.99 pay per view and do as much damage to her as possible. During the 2008 cycle, over 21 million people saw one of the various clips of Hillary! Uncensored. It damaged her. Hopefully we can replicate such damage and finally end the Clinton Crime Family reign of terror.

Any amount of time I have spent with you has taken time away from something that is far more important. You are hereby declared the winner and I hope your anger, disappointment, and disdain of Trump can subside. It is a leap of faith for all of us, and we can only hope that he will choose the right people to advise him. Our country needs to be saved or humanity will see "a thousand years of darkness."

As an aside on a stylistic note, if you have to use CAPS to attempt make a point and be understood, it is condescending to the reader and indicates that you have difficulty formulating a coherent argument.

We are on the same conservative side and may get along in the future, but for now:
