Very kind of you, thank you.

I have a serious question, if you would have any thought about it.

IF Hillary did pick the Bern as her VP, would it, in your opinion, change the equation ? I’m honestly not sure, but I worry it could up the Dem base energy and be tougher to beat.

Wow, good question.

At first blush, I would say as long as she heads the ticket, Obama is still the donkey in the room, and Trump still wins. Perhaps a slight improvement in her performance but still a drubbing.

Bernie supporters are largely young, jobless, or near-jobless disaffecteds who traditionally don't turn out anyway. Voting isn't a fulfilling social event for them, and if their man is second banana, they'll choose to stay home with mom and dad and play video games.

The trick is for comrade bern to do well enough so that it appears he's been cheated out of the nomination and his supporters either stay home in the general, or cross the aisle and vote for Trump in protest.

Should cankles choose comrade bern as a veep, then, yes, there is a danger of his supporters giving piaps enough turnout to win. Of course, the establishment, kristol and those sorts will be in a pickle given her poor health and having an out and out collectivist a heartbeat away from the presidency. The uniparty establishment doesn't want all their crony industries nationalized. They have money, but they don't have votes.

This election cycle has certainly been entertaining.
