Maybe she did get shot, but I fail to believe it. It is funny that every 6 months or so, we have mass shootings ever since Obama has been president. They were a lot more uncommon before then.

We sure have. And Gabby Giffords was shot. The two are not mutually exclusive. The lie in Giffords case was that her shooter was a right-winger. He wasn’t. She was really shot, however. Others were shot too - and killed. It happened.

No, actually there are no “large holes” that don’t show up in many other shootings or crimes. Some things are never fully explained. That doesn’t mean the shootings didn’t happen.
I know there are kooks out there who say there was no mass shooting of children in Sandy Hook/Newtown - but there was a mass shooting. It happened. I know there are kooks out there who think those poor people who got their limbs blown off in the Boston marathon bombing were “amputee actors” (Dear God, how stupid can people be? The reality is those people were exactly what they looked like - bombing victims who lost limbs.

No, it’s not funny (i.e. neither humorous nor odd). Mental illness is increasing (which helps explain why so many people believe in idiotic conspiracies). The number of violent criminals seems to be increasing too. The number of gang related and drug related mass shootings seems to be going up as well.
