A Chinese spy tried to get into the Queens carriage with her during last years state visit. Lucy DOrsi, who was in charge of security for President Xi Jinpings visit in October, was filmed by the Monarchs official cameraman saying: Well they also wanted to come in your carriage with the interpreter
The Queen appeared to be well-briefed about the incident as she nodded and replied with a firm yes.

Unfortunately. I think the UK has become too "wussified" for drawing and quartering.
One tabloid reported that The Queen had an ‘open mic’ moment that caught her saying the Chinese officials were rude to the British ambassador.
It is prudent to assume so.

From China - no doubt, yes. You would not get near a politician, foreign or domestic, without being absolutely vetted and approved as a loyal apparatchik. That's not to mention the years of schooling and training in government schools and agencies to become an interpreter in the first place.
Wouldnt the President of China sitting there be able to pick up on any secrets the Queen let slip?
