George Clooney uses his platform at the Cannes Film Festival to denounce The Donald

George Clooney is making his disdain for Donald Trump known not just here in the United States but also overseas.

The actor was interviewed by members of the international press at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday afternoon, and took some time to share with them his opinion of Trump.

'There's not going to be a President Donald Trump,' said Clooney, who held a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton last month in Los Angeles where tickets reportedly went for $353,400 per couple.

'That's not going to happen. Fear is not going to be something that drives our country. We're not going to be scared of Muslims or immigrants or women. We're not actually afraid of anything.'

He claims to not be afraid of anything, yet he is petrified of a President Trump. LOL

And his latest movie tanked! ;^)

Seems like someone has an inflated view of the value of their opinions

With this latest movie tanking, I’m going to hope that his career continues on a downward trajectory. Soon he won’t be welcomed at Cannes and he won’t have offers.

Then he can run for President/Congress. :)

Indeed his latest movie is tanking. Kinda makes one feel sorry for the Obama supporter (sarcasm):

George Clooney’s new film is tanking. How sad!

Snip: Clooney probably has enough starry capital in the bank to survive this failure, and he could certainly continue to make as many smaller films as he likes for as long as he likes. But when it comes to the big-budget creations on which the careers of actors in Clooney’s league depend, he may find studios just a little less willing to bet the house on him.

So George “Another Bomb” Clooney has something to say?

Hope he finds someone who cares.

It’s been insufferable since he married his much hyped major human rights lawyer. Frankly the idiot is making these pronouncements in the worst possible setting.

If he’s not afraid of Muslims, why not go live in the Middle East where his wife is from.

Somehow these college dropouts know all when they get to Hollywood.

I hope that this is truly the beginning of his end, which can’t happen soon enough to suit me.

STFU and act!

What is it with highly paid Hollywood stars denouncing their country abroad?

Clooney is a big name liberal but his telling us how to vote is exactly what we don’t need.

Clooney and the other idiots have too much time and money on their hands. Since they can’t do anything useful or constructive with themselves, they bash the US and get involved where they don’t belong, like politics and diplomacy.

As an actor, Clooney would likely end up being used for the pleasure of a Sheik or prince. Reportedly, Amal was viewed as marrying down when her engagement to Clooney was announced.
