I considered what you said about the reporters forgiving the lie because they also Leftist and you may well be correct.

But also consider that they are a generation raised on the Everyone Deserves to have Self Esteem philosophy. They have been raised to think that they are very important people regardless of how few their accomplishments.

I think they will be offended (after all they are part of the eternally offended generation) because Rhodes didn’t let them in on the gag. He didn’t trust them.

Leftist are naturally arrogant to begin with but the young generation of today have been raised to be arrogant from the time they were in diapers. Perhaps a few will let it go out of loyalty to Obama but I figure a good number of them are going to hold a grudge.
