Herzog fires back: It's either me or Liberman

Opposition leader and Zionist Union party chief Yitzhak Herzog has announced he is suspending unity government talks with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, after the premier issued an invitation to begin talks with Yisrael Beytenu party head Avigdor Liberman.

n a markedly abrupt, pithy press conference, Herzog said Netanyahu faced a choice between "going to war and funerals, and the victory of (Avigdor) Liberman and (Naftali) Bennett, or the track of hope" - namely, inviting the Zionist Union party to join the coalition instead.

"These are the choices - there are no other options," he added. "We won't continue negotiations at the same time - if Netanyahu wants to bring Liberman into (the government), he can let him in."

Vowing not to "allow Liberman to set the agenda," Herzog said he would continue to stand by his values which, in his words, were the only reason he had not already accepted Netanyahu's offers to join the government.

Herzog - who had reportedly been demanding the foreign ministry portfolio - further asserted that "the choice is between me in defense or Liberman in defense; between madness and sanity," referring to Liberman's demand for the defense ministry.

The Clinton's, Albright’s, Cohen's (William), Berger's (Sandy), Christopher's (Warren), Sherman's (Wendy), Ross’s (Dennis), Indyk’s (Martin) and the current Obama administration all intervened in Israeli politics to make sure that the Grandaddy of them all, (CIA operative since 1956) Shimon Peres and his Labor party (today's “Bougie”), would remain in power so they would continue to capitulate to the PLO and European Left.

Well, the people of Israel voted Left (1992), Center (2000) and then Right (2006) trying to search for peace but the Jews Never found what they call in Hebrew, a “PARTNER”.

Whenever that happens, let’s have elections, and let Beit Yisrael and Bayit Yehudi beef up their lists. I have a feeling they’ll need it. Just because he’s hated by the left doesn’t mean Bibi’s really right wing. Israel will survive after he’s gone.

I sure thought this article was going to be about Whitey Herzog and Joe Lieberman. I could not get the connection.

Then I decided (unFReeper like) to actually read the article. Liberman and Lieberman are spelled differently too.

I oughta start reading more than just the head line, I might learn more that way.
