Yes, they were married, but divorced 17 years ago, so do you really think it is relevant?

Wasn't Diane Skykes married to the NeverTrump guy Charlie? We really need to look into these people.

Completely irrelevant. I don't care if they endorse Trump, if they support Trump, if they vote for Trump.

What I do care about is judicial philosophy, temperament, and moral fitness for the High Court. And by every account I've read from conservatives today, even those who have not endorsed Trump, this list is a home run.

The person making the appointments is what matters, not the law school they went to. Your blanket statement would have precluded those two from ever serving on the court. Being so doctrinaire isn’t always beneficial.

Do you need a tissue?

No one has been nominated yet and won't be until after the election. The fact remains, and it is a fact, Cruz has/had no interest in being a member of the USSC and made that clear the first time the silly idea was floated. Saying otherwise is a lie, and we don't like liars here, do we?

Trouble reading? He lied about supporting the party’s nominee. Broken pledge= LIE.
He also says Trump would nominate liberal judges which is now a LIE too.

That isnt what I mean.

I am saying dont make assumptions, it is how we always get screwed. Its how we got Roberts, Kennedy, Souter, and almost Harriet Myers.

Yale too. Hillary Clinton was fired by other liberal lawyers for being too much of a liar.

“Looks like Cruz really screwed the pooch for himself.”

Cruz himself said he did not want the nomination. So Trump is taking his word for it. Hahahaha

Hugh Hewitt has really turned out to be a RINO POS. I always knew Hugh was a RINO but I did not know how bad he stinks up the place.

Trump’s position also puts pressure on the IRS to “finish” their “audit” (i.e.= fishing expedition) and give Trump’s tax returns a (reluctant) stamp of approval.

How “sad” for Hillary...

As for all those smears and innuendos that her “goons” have cooked up after examining their illegal “advance copies” of Trump’s tax returns “leaked” to her campaign by the IRS?

WORTHLESS!

“Tony was one of the good guys. Memory eternal.”

He sure was. IMHO God took him to early.

Not sure why kids would matter...They have 2.

I don’t think fact that she was married to Sykes 17 years ago really plays into this—That is a long time, and I did not find any commentary from her regarding Trump running, etc.

She is very conservative. Trump suggested her (and Pryor) as Supreme nominees back in February.

Your response calls to mind the part in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles where Steve Martin's rental car reservation is not in the system and he snaps: "You're messing with the wrong guy!"

I never said anything about Cruz on the USSC - only that Cruz continually claimed Trump would nominate Liberals.

I don’t recall him nominating anyone. We’ll see what happens in January/February after he’s elected. The real Trump won’t show up until then, but I hope it’s the same Trump that issued those red meat names to conservatives.

Judge Willet was also skeptical about who Trump would nominate to the court.

Trump put Willet on the list.
